Juliet ran a hand through her hair, making sure it looked right in the mirror. Tonight was the party and she personally wasn't sure what could happen, but she wanted to have fun.
She studied herself, her hair was lying smooth, her makeup wasn't too much but she looked great. Her darker lipstick complimented her plum colored dress. The dress fit her perfectly, and had a slit up to her thigh. Her shoes gave her a tad of extra height. She smiled, leaving her room and going to the party that was already in full swing.
She walked over to the bar, stopping every now then to talk to people and say thank you to compliments she received.
"So I take the tank, fly it right up to the general's palace, drop it at his feet I'm like 'Boom you looking for this? '" Rhodey told, a smile on his face. Juliet gave a small laugh, sending a smile back to Rhodey
"Boom you looking for this? Why do I even talk to you guys?" he questioned the others, "Everywhere else that story kills"
"That's the whole story?" Thor questioned
"Yeah, it's a War Machine story"
"Oh it's very good then. It's impressive" Thor said, taking a sip of his drink.
"Quality save" Rhodey sighed
Juliet grabbed a drink from Tony's hands, taking a sip as he looked at her.
"Who are you and what have you done with my sister?" he joked
"Geez I dress up nice for the few time in months and you assume it's not me" She replied, a smile on her face
"The real Juliet wouldn't willing take a drink from my hand and drink it without question"
"Oh I questioned, I just didn't voice it this time. The party just started how heavy do you plan on going dude" she said, now referring to his drink. "Ah there she is" Tony smiled
"So, no Pepper? She's not coming?" Rhodey asked, "No" Tony shook his head
"What about Jane? Where are the ladies gentlemen? And Juliet where's your lover, no one special?" Maria asked
"Oh Ms. Potts has a company to run" Tony stated
"Yes, I'm not even sure what country Jane's in" Thor answered, "Her work on the Convergence has made her the world's foremost astronomer"
