William caught her in time before she lost her balance.

"Elise!" Louis slightly panicked upon seeing her breathing shakily.

She leaned on William as he held her securely to keep her from losing her balance. Tightening her grip to William's clothes, she tried to even her breathing and maintain her composure.

"I should have expected this after all those anger I had... I'm glad it didn't happen during the execution..."

"I-I'm sorry..." Elise apologized as the older blonde supported her. "I-It's not that terrible so please do not worry too much, everyone..."

The males shared a worried look after seeing her in that state. William lightly squeezed her arm in assurance before facing the rest of them, his eyes calm but filled with worry.

"Louis, brew a tea for her and prepare her medicine. Fred, contact Albert-nii-san for me. I'll escort Elise to her room."

"I will."

"Understood."

He nodded in gratitude before facing the older man. "Moran, please call Miss Moneypenny to come over."

"Huh? Why?"

He gave him a close eyed smile. "Do you want me to change her clothes myself?"

Moran blinked for a couple of seconds before realizing his intentions. He sighed and rubbed his neck before leaving.

"Ah... Fine, I'll go call her."

"Thank you, Moran."

As soon as the three left, William carried her in his arms without a word, one arm under her legs and the other supporting her back. The action surprised Elise but due to her triggered attack, she couldn't muster a surprised reaction in her weak state.

"O-Onii-sama...?" Her focus was slowly returning back to normal as she weakly tugged his robe. "I-It's fine... I can walk just fine..."

The blonde started walking upstairs with her in his arms and gave her a calm smile. "It's all right, Elise. I am doing this because I want to. Let me carry you to your room like this, all right?"

She gave out a shaky sigh as she resigned on his chest, too tired and still hurting to protest. William could feel the unevenness of her breathing and slightly frowned in worry. However, like what Elise says, her attack right now is weaker compared to when she was a child.

That didn't stop him from worrying, though.

Upon entering her room, he gently set her down on her bed and started removing her black robe and removed the hair ornament off her hair before placing it on the table next to her bed. He also took the liberty to unclasp her belt where here her knives are attached and placed them on the table next to the ornament.

After that, he made her lean on the headboard with a pillow in between for her comfort.

"Elise, I'm afraid I'll have to unbutton a few buttons for you to breathe easily so please forgive me." He told her in advance as he touched her cheek.

Beads of sweat rolled down the side of her face as the young woman subconsciously nuzzled on his hand as she shakily whispered. "I don't...mind..."

William wordlessly unbuttoned a few buttons from her clothes which slightly revealed her collarbone and a few skin on her chest. He didn't give a second glance and focused solely on easing her breathing.

He may be a man who yearns for the woman he fell for but he is willing to push aside his thoughts to prioritize her condition.

"Does breathing still hurts?" He asked her softly as he gave her hand a light squeeze.
