Louis' eyes darted back again to the door of Elise's room where his brother went to after the meeting.
William entered the room carrying a tray of pitcher of water and a glass, with the medicine that is said to be the cure for her illness. Even though Louis never really liked Holmes, he was begrudgingly grateful to the man for creating the medicine within a span of a few months. However, Louis still has his doubts if what the detective made is effective.
After another few minutes of waiting, William exited her room. The expression on his face was hard to describe, since it was slightly covered by his blond hair.
Before he could call out to him, the other beat him to it. "Louis."
"Nii-san?"
William raised his head and looked at his younger brother. He then placed a hand on his shoulder before speaking.
"Louis, please take of Elise for the time being." He says. His tone was flat but, he sounded quite... shaken? Louis can't tell but he was getting worried.
"What happened, nii-san?" He asked in worry.
"I made her take the medicine." He explained briefly. "However, there are minor side effects. She's currently in a comatose-like state and it will last for about five days. During those days, please take care of her, Louis."
Louis' red eyes widened in surprise and disbelief. He didn't expect that at all.
"Comatose? Did Holmes fail to complete the medicine?"
"This is to be expected, actually. I more or less expected a side effect." The older blonde says as if reading his mind. "Even if the side effect was not that, I planned from the start to make Elise unconscious for a few days. What Holmes created... it's already enough."
"But, nii-san... Did Elise..."
"Louis." He cuts him off while slightly looking away. "The Moriarty's forbidden flower... Please take care of her."
