BTW, I made a mistake. It's supposed to be Jack Renfield, not Rayfield. I'm so sorry for it. I'll go correct the previous chapters.

Happy reading!!

------------------------------------

Darkness enveloped the streets of Whitechapel as soon as evening came, save for the lamps the Scotland Yard were using in their patrols. A Yard officer was patrolling an alley when he was startled by a small black figure hurrying out of an alley.

After shining the light to the small figure, he realized it was a cat and let out a small sigh in relief but it was only for a moment.

Upon closer inspection, he saw wet paw prints from the cat. Since it was dimly lit, he's not so sure what it was so he turned his lamp to the alley where the cat came from.

"Is someone there...?"

When the view became clearer, he nearly staggered back in horror.

What he found were two bloody corpses of courtesans, murdered at the same horrible way "Jack the ripper" did.

"Jack! Jack has struck again!!"

An alarm blared, alerting both the Yard and the militia of Whitechapel at the presence of the infamous murderer. For William's side, this is their signal to start commencing their plan.

In one of the abandoned buildings behind the inn they were staying, William nodded to the real (and definitely not a murderer) Jack and Fred. The two returned the gesture and started moving.

William's plan was to force the militia and the Yard to work together to capture the murderer by luring them with Jack disguised as the murderer.

Fred is their eye in the sky and show the way for the old instructor while Moran and Bond will provide sniper support from a long distance.

Meanwhile, Elise, Louis, and William will be waiting by the enemies' hideout and eliminate them.

Jack's role was to hold on for an hour against 300 men until all is taken care of on the Moriarty side.

It turns out that the imposter "Jack the Ripper" is composed of multiple people and not just one after William read the police reports and the information they collected. The culprits were planning to use the inevitable conflict between the militia and the Yard as a card to blackmail the English government. William and the others won't allow that to happen.

"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!"

Fred let out a shriek, a feminine one, while hiding to catch both the attention of the militia and Yard. As planned, up above the building was "Jack the Ripper", holding the body of a courtesan as he taunted the two groups for fighting each other instead of "him".

"The game of tag is about to start!!" Jack bellowed at them with a manic smile. "If you want me, come and get me!!"

Elise was a little worried for the old man but the only that they can is to hurry up and find the hideout. In the distance, they can hear the shouts and sounds of gun firing as both the militia of Whitechapel and Scotland Yard chase the "murderer".

As they were on their way to the secret meeting place of the people who refer themselves as "Jack the Ripper", Elise looked at the handgun Herder gave her earlier. Although she is not fond of using guns, she appreciated his gift and promised to make use of it when the situation calls for it.

But of course, Herder, with his love to guns and machineries, will be waiting for her feedback if she were to use it. Even without saying anything, it's very obvious on his face.
