Percy's pov

(Two days later)

I spent my last two days learning new fighting styles from other titans and getting caught up on the plan to destroy Olympus. Today I am gonna be training with Kronos himself and then I will also be getting my powers back at the ceremony later. I'm kinda nervous to train with him. I am still weak from losing my powers, but I have been pretty good at holding up my own still. I won't let anyone get in my way.

(Le time skip to training)

I walk to the main hall, where they have the training sessions. I have on a pair of jeans and a black shirt, my pen in the front left pocket of my pants. My hands are shaking and I can feel the sweat building on my forehead, I bring my hand up and wipe it off. I am not prepared to fight with Kronos. He is definitely stronger than me, seeing as he has powers and I do not.

I breathe out a long sigh, trying to get the stress to leave my body. I push open the doors to see Kronos sharpening his scythe. He looks up when he hears me walk towards him.

"Hello Perseus." he says.

"It's Percy." I say, quietly.

He narrows his eyes and says," Okay Percy, are you ready to spar?"

I stare at him, open mouthed. He didn't care that I basically corrected him. How could he not be angry?

"Close your mouth Percy, you're gonna catch flies." He says, chuckling and sending me a small smile.

"You're not mad that I basically told you how I want to be treated, most powerful people hate when I correct them?" I ask, still in shock.

He stares at me for a moment, then he throws his had back and laughs. His laugh is just the icing on the cake of surprises. I didn't know he could laugh.

"You're funny Percy. The gods may act like they're better than the titans and teach their children that we are horrible beings. We all have our flaws, but we are not horrible monsters as they make us out to be. We care for our own, we treat each other like family. I would never turn my back on the people I call family, yes, I did eat my kids, but I was scared. Scared they would attack me without a care, but in the end it happened anyways. If I could I would go back and stop my past self from ever doing that. They may hate me, but I love them. I am the reason they turned out to be the way they are, but I need to stop them from destroying the world. You see the damage they have caused to this world. So that is why we are going to stop them." he says, staring into my eyes.

"Well, all you can do is forgive and change how people feel about you." I say, smiling, slightly hoping that also means my father and friends will forgive me.

He smiles back and says, "We should start the training now, before we lose time,"then he winks at me. I laugh a little at his joke.

I pull out my sword and walk towards the middle of the training arena.

"Show me what you got time lord." I say, smirking at him and getting into a fighting stance.

He smirks back, pulling his scythe from the air and readies himself in a fighting stance.

We circle each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. A few seconds later, Kronos charges with his scythe raised in a deadly arc. If my reflexes weren't good, my head probably would have been severed from my body. But I raise my sword to block his swing. The clang echos through the room.

My mind goes blank and my body goes on autopilot, but after a few minutes, we both stand down. Accepting a draw.

"You are exceptionally good Percy, no wonder the gods wanted you on their side." he tells me, wiping the sweat off of his forehead.

I blush at the attention, not used to it, "Thanks, I'm not really that good though. I could have done better." I say, downing a bottle of water and rubbing the sweat off with a towel.

"Nonsense Percy, you are doing great. You nearly beat me and that is no easy task. You are a really great fighter and you are the best at keeping up a fight" Kronos says, smiling at me.

I smile back, feeling happy someone can actually appreciate me and a little resentment my father can't.

---------------

Kronos' pov

I can feel my heart pounding at the way he smiles at me. The way he looks at me. It makes my skin tingle and my face turn red. I quickly look away, hopping he doesn't notice.

"Come, we have to get you ready for the ceremony." I say to him, opening the door.

-----time skippy-------

Once my personal maiden left, I looked at my formal outfit. It was a pure gold tux that had diamonds embroidered on the sleeve. My hair had gold streaks throughout my waves of hair. I looked magnificent. Then I thought about what Perseus was going to be wearing and how handsome he would look.

Whoa, calm down their. You nearly killed the poor boy last time you two had met. There was no way he would even consider dating you, my brain told me.

But his sea green eyes and beautiful jet black hair have me falling to my knees, I thought to myself.

No, you can't think like that, you could ruin whatever bond you started with him, my brain said.

Oh shut up and let me have my fun, I scolded it.

I pushed the thoughts away and pushed open the doors of my bedroom. I walked down the corridor to the grand hall. The walls are pure white with gold trimmings. They're absolutely stunning and would make any architect jealous. As I make my way towards the grand hall, I think about Percy. Ugh, I can't help how handsome he is.

I shake the thoughts away and push open the doors, causing them to groan and squeak. Making my entrance known to everyone.

"And I thought Zeus was the one known for dramatic entrances." an amused voice says beside me, I can hear the laughter behind his words.

I look towards the voice and my breath catches in my throat. Perseus stands beside me, wearing a black suit and a sea green tie that almost matches the beauty of his eyes, but nothing can compare to the happiness and even a little bit of darkness in his eyes. I can faintly see sea green glittering his hair. He carries himself with such grace and confidence people could think he's a titan.

"I have no idea what you are talking about Percy." I say, giving him a smirk.

He snorts (which sounds adorable) and motions me ahead of him. I walk towards the center, Perseus following behind me. The audience cheers for Perseus, chanting his name. I stop once I get near the center and turn to look at him.

"Perseus, you have two choices. To be given your powers back or becoming a titan with the same powers you had before." I speak loudly so the audience can hear.

Perseus looks shocked, not knowing I would offer him to be a titan. His face then morphs to panic. I let him process the information and a few minutes later he inhales a shaky breath and speaks.

"I chose.....to become a titan." he shouts to the audience, causing them to become louder.

I smile because now I can finally be with Perseus forever. I will make him my husband and he and I shall rule the world together. Because if there is one thing I know, it's that I will stop at nothing at having Perseus. He will be mine.
