A loud noise echoed through the room vibrating the walls and bouncing the beeping into my eardrums. My arm stretched out and hit the button turning off the overpowering noise of my alarm in the early morning. Slowly I got up throwing on whatever clothes I could find and dragged myself over to the curtain hoping that the blinding light would wake me up a bit

I brushed my fingers over the curtain preparing myself for the light to shine through. As soon as I opened the curtain I was greeted by an almost white light, my eyes adjusted quite quickly and the world came into focus. Ever since I was little I always enjoyed going up to the window and looking out, I remember when I was little I used to try and go on my tiptoes so I could get a glimpse outside

"Lisa!" A voice hollered from downstairs

"Coming Mom!" I shouted back

I entered the kitchen and saw my fifteen years old brother sitting down at the table with his headphones in and scrolling through his phone. He was still in his sort of emo phase where he dressed all in black and showed little to no emotion. Although he claims being emo is a way of life and I guess I can't argue with that

"Hey," I said brightly and pulled the beanie off his head to be the annoying big sister that I am

"Leave me alone" he huffed pulling his beanie back and putting it back on. I chuckled to myself whilst going over to the cupboard taking a bowl and cereal out

"Don't you think your a little too old to annoy your brother? You're sixteen" My mom said in an authoritative tone of voice

"Your point?" I said and sat down in front of him

Dad came downstairs talking on the phone wearing one of his suits. When he went into the kitchen he mumbled a quick thanks to my mom who placed a streaming hot coffee down on the table next to his paper. Once his phone call was over

"Bambam, Lisa, Susan" he greeted barely looking up from the paper he was now holding

My Mom and Dad were very busy people because my Mom is a therapist and my dad is a lawyer, they are not parents that call each other sickling cute nicknames that are a kind of personal joke that has just stuck over the years. Instead, they barely greet each other in the morning

"Hi Dad," I said trying to make some sort of conversation

"Hmm" He huffed making an inhuman sound

Breakfast went by in awkward silence the only sound was the slight noise of music you could hear blasting out Bambam's headphones

The walk to school was peaceful except a few cars zooming past but not enough to ruin the calm atmosphere, that was until Some came running up to me her beautiful curls bouncing as she did

"Hi," I said my voice came out high pitched as she engulfed me into a hug

Somi were morning people more so than me. As she pulled away she was wearing her school skirt just a little over the height we are supposed to have like most girls at the school

She had a little more make-up on which surprised me considering she normally doesn't bother with any or only has a little. Her eyelashes are enhanced with just the right amount of mascara so they are not all clumsy and fake looking

"What boy are you trying to impress?" I asked looking into her brown eyes that have slight bits of green in around the iris

"Why would I be trying to impress anyone? Can't a girl just wear makeup to feel empowered?" Somi responded putting her hands on her hips

"Yes they can but I know you" I exclaimed

"Good point" Somi stated before walking off to school and me trying to catch up

I put the books I don't need in my locker and took out the ones I do, whilst I tried to balance the books and put them into my bag I saw Jennie

"Hey," she said, she is so close to me that I can smell her minty breath

"Hi" I responded timidly

"Don't tell anyone about the ride my sister gave you yesterday" she commented eyes piercing into mine

"O-Okay" I stuttered looking down at the ground watching my feet shift slightly from nerves

Jennie flicked her curled hair and walked away, my eyes felt glued to her until she walked around the corner

My friends dragged me to a school football game because Somi likes one of the players

I don't particularly mind going to the matches, after all, I get to watch the cheerleaders, our school is weird and even though we don't normally have cheerleaders with football the headmistress thought it would be a good touch to have some extra support for the team

Tzuyu looked at me and I could tell she saw me staring at the main cheerleader Jennie, but who wouldn't look at her she look beautiful and maybe a little attractive in her tight uniform that hugs her body in all the right places

Jackson who happens to be Jennie's boyfriend scored another goal, he seems to be one of the best players and he is adored by everyone at the school. His hair is slightly curled at the ends and the tips are blonde warmed by the sun

Jackson is slender but has muscles that you could see slightly through his uniform. To people that are attached to men quite a few like him

I looked around at the cheering crowd who are happy because our school team the Ravens are winning. At the corner of my eye I could see my brother and his friends, Bambam looked content, and even from here I could see eyes glued on one player Jackson

After what turned out to be a quite exciting match of football Tzuyu and Somi practically dragged me to the dinner

We are sat down in the corner by the old stereo listening to songs from our childhood whilst waiting to order

A petite girl with a messy bun and auburn colored hair came up to our table with a notepad and pencil. Around her waist, there was an off-white apron that had a few stains dotted on

"Are you ready to make your order?" she asked brushing a strand of hair behind her ear timidly

"Um yeah, I'll have..." I made out to look at the menu even though I knew what I'm going to order

"A waffle and diet coke- wait for change that I'd like a Dr pepper" I replied indecisively feeling like mixing it up a bit

"I just don't understand it" my Dad sighed

"Don't understand what Dad?" I asked walking into the living room seeing my Mom, Dad and brother sat down. Mom looked distant and Dad shocked, Bambam is sat head down in his hands

"Bambam thinks he bisexual" Dad said bluntly

"I don't think Dad I know!" Bambam retorted annoyed

"He's just confused," Mom said getting up and walking out the room with Dad following

I walked over to my brother and put my arm around him "It's going to be okay you know" I said trying to comfort him

"How would you know?" He asked tears in his eyes

"Look at me I'm fine with it. Mom and Dad are just shocked they'll get used to it"

He looked up at me and wiped away his tears with the sleeve from his top

"Thanks" he added his tone of voice meaningful. Then he walked out of the room and the only thing I heard from then was his bedroom door slam behind him
