Natasha sat with Riley and waited for her to awaken. Several hours later, Riley awoke and sat upright in bed, slowly turning her head to meet Natasha.
"Hello, Void. About time you woke up, now how is my best friend fairing in her fight with you?" Natasha asked.
"Now, now, Natalia...Little Stark here is more than just your best friend. There's no need to lie to me." Void smirked evilly as she went to stand up, but found that her wrist was chained to the bed.
"Just you and me, huh? Don't think we need the chains, do we?" Void asked.
Natasha looked at Void and shrugged, "I want to be sure you'll stay put and I feel much safer knowing you can't move from that bed."
Void shook her head and looked to Natasha, "Why of all people did Stark make you come and watch me? Surely, he'd think that Riley's soulmate, Miss Maximoff, would break Riley free from my grasp?"
"Well, it seems Stark wants to protect Riley's soulmate from your mind tricks." Natasha replied, "And you still haven't answered my question, Void."
"Oh, what was it again? I don't really care, but I don't want to irritate my host's beloved." Void grinned evilly.
