First Meal

Kim Sunoo's POV

I woke up the next day, yesterday was something I thought I can only see in my dreams...

Today's a school holiday, just to give us some rest because of the events yesterday.

It turned out Jungwon and Riki even helped for that mini confession. I must admit, it was quite cute.

I looked at my nightstand and saw the rose Sunghoon gave me.

While I looked at it, it somehow reminded me of something.

"I know I have seen this somewhere" I whispered to myself, trying to recognize where it is from

I sighed and decided to go outside to get some fresh air.

"Oh-" I was stopped when I saw Sunghoon infront of my door

"Sunghoon?" I almost whispered in shock, it looks like he was about to reach out to the door knob

I looked up at his face, he looks just as shocked.

He was again wearing his specs, a comfy yellow sweater and pants.

"Uh, S-Sunoo" He nervously laughed

"What are you doing here?" I asked him again.

I then invited him inside, it would be rude to talk to him in the doorway.

"Uhm, I brought you uh.., breakfast" He shyly scratched the back of his neck and brought out a packed lunch box

I was shocked when he brought it out, he was hiding it from behind earlier. Just in time, I feel hungry...

"Wow, thank you" I softly said and accepted it

"I cooked those" He pointed it once I placed it over my table

"Oh, so you cook?" I asked again, moving to my kitchen to grab us some plates

I heard him hum as he sat down at the dining room

"Can we have breakfast together?" He asked as he watched me

"No" I rolled my eyes at him, can't believe he just asked that question

"Of course you can! I can't just kick you out of here when you even brought me food" I pulled the chair out to eat with him

He just laughed at me and faced the table to eat

We unpacked the container and digged in our first meal together.

"By the way" He spoke as I looked up at him

"There will be a national competition this coming weekend for my figure skating" He mentioned as I took a bite of the egg

I then motioned him to continue

"Can you come?" He asked me, with a pleading face

I thought about it for a while

"Aren't I the one should be asking for a favor?" I said, remembering his words last night

"You can just tell me right now" He said, as if he doesn't care what I would ask for

"You should come with me, I want to meet up with someone" I told him and crossed my arms iver my chest

He gave me a questioning look as he chewed on his food

"With?" He asks

"Well, I was planning to meet the person this coming weekend too, but I haven't told him yet" I said

"So it's a him?" He raised his eyebrows at me

"What is it to you then?" I asked, literally not thinking about his feelings

He just gave me a sigh and dropped his chopsticks on the table as he leaned back

"Kim Sunoo, you know how I like you right now, of course I would protect you. Who are you meeting up with by the way?" His eyebrows furrowed as he asked, looking at me directly

"Well, excuse me, Park Sunghoon, I am not even your boyfriend yet" I sassily told him

"'Yet, yet! You can't take those back!" He excitedly exclaimed as I laughed at his reaction

"Of course I'm coming with you, I won't let you go meet with someone alone" He then seriously said

"Is that it? You should tell the person about it now though, so if that person is not available, you can reschedule it earlier" Sunghoon said and took a bite at his food

I just hummed, thinking it was a great idea. So I stood up to pick my phone from the counter and texted the unknown person.

"hey.. sorry for not texting back. can we, by any chance, meet at last? I'm dying to know who you are!" I stood by the counter and sent the message

I waited for an answer for like 3 minutes, but he still doesn't respond, so I went back to the dining area to speak to Sunghoon

"Is the man coming?" Sunghoon asked

"No reply yet, he's probably still sleeping" I concluded

He just hummed and took the plates away from the table

"Just leave it there, I'll wash it later" I instructed him, but it looks like he already started the water and the soap to wash them

"No, I can handle. You should rest though" He looked back from the kitchen

I just sighed at him, and thanked him anyways

Once everything was done, I accompanied him to the exit

"Thanks for the food" I gave him a smile

He pushed his glasses up and flashed a smile

"Anything for you, marshmallow " He pinched my cheeks quite hard as he scrunched his face

"Oww" I rubbed my cheeks after he lets it go

He just laughed at me and said his goodbye

Park Sunghoon's POV

"Shit. He now wants to meet up with me" I thought as I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket.

But of course, I won't just bring my phone out, it's too risky.

Maybe he can wait until this weekend...

After the meal we had, I left his condo, thinking of what I should say to him once he finds out.
