The Other Side

Kim Sunoo's POV

"WHAT?!" Jungwon and Riki both exclaimed

"Ow, shhh, can you tone it down a bit!" I shouted in a whisper, covering my ears

Right now, we are having a sleepover in my condo, just the three of us. Jungwon also brought bottles of liquor to drink a few shots

"Oh well, it's not like we didn't expect it to happen" Riki said, eating his snacks

"Yeah, well, I am happy for you guys. I'm happy I gave him your number" Jungwon unconsciously said

"You look too proud, huh?" I mocked Jungwon's expression

"It took you quite a long time, he's been courting your for a while now, I'm glad his waiting is finally over" Riki added again

"Maybe those dreams did help me realize my feelings for him" I looked up at the ceiling, reminiscing the dream I had.

"What about you, hyung? How's your progress with Jay?" Riki smiled at Jungwon, bringing up the topic again

Jungwon looked down as he smiled, almost bitterly.

"Yah, you are not telling us something" I lightly pushed Jungwon who is still smiling

"Tell us the truth, or else I'll dump this whole bottle in your mouth" Riki challenged Jungwon, holding the bottle of liquor

"Oh, bet!" Jungwon said confidently

"That'll be too easy for him, Riki" I shook my head and sighed as they laughed

"Well, Jay...he told me he likes me" Jungwon finally opened up

Our head whipped at his direction, listening to what comes next

"But, he said he is not ready for a commitment yet" Jungwon sourly smiled

"So I guess that makes us friends, right?" Jungwon said as he drank a shot

"What are you then, friends with benefits?" Riki joked, which is obviously not the right time

We all just sighed at their situation

"Let's not think too much guys, let's just drink to this" I told them and raised my glass.

They both followed after and drank their drinks down like there's no tomorrow.

Park Sunghoon's POV

"Congrats man, when's the wedding?" Heeseung joked as soon as I told them the news

We are currently at Jake's place. I texted Sunoo earlier and he said they'll have a sleepover at his place with Jungwon and Riki.

"I'll introduce him first to my parents" I shook my head at them with a smile

"I remember how you guys fought so much during the early years" Jay sighed

"Oh, will this be about me now? How's your status with Jungwon, hm?" I changed the topic as the others agreed

"The man's liked you ever since, aren't you going to give him a chance?" Jake questioned, looking at Jay

"Well, okay, here. I already talked to him and admitted how I felt for him...Okay, I like Jungwon, but I don't think I can commit yet" Jay spoke in a whisper

We all looked at him, silence deafening us.

Right, Jay had an ex lover who took advantage of him. They didn't end well. It turned out that Jay was the only one who loved him, while the other end just used him for whatever reason he had.

"That was the past, Jay. If you are still thinking of him, I think it's just right to not advance whatever you have with Jungwon" Jake advised, which we all agreed to

"Yeah, it'll just hurt Jungwon. Don't worry, don't rush anything you aren't ready for" Heeseung patted Jay's shoulder

"Not gonna lie, having this kind of conversation with you guys is making me cringe" Jay chuckled while the others bursted out laughing

"No, but seriously, thanks" Jay smiled at us

"Well, what's your plan now?" I asked Jay

"I don't know, maybe I'll just have a talk with him first? I don't want him to wait for nothing too...I am quite uncertain right now..." Jay pushed his hair back, probably frustrated with his uncertain feeling

Before anyone can speak again, my phone chimed

"Hooniee" Sunoo texted

Who would've thought this sassy man can be this clingy?

"?" I teased him and sent the text

"really, ?, why are you being like thiss" he replied again

"I'll call" I sent him

"No" he then replied

Ahh.. is he really getting angry over that?

"Guys, I'll just call someone okay?" I told them as they proceeded with their food

As soon as I left the room, I pressed call

"What do you want?" the other end picked up

"I thought you didn't want me to call? Why did you pick up then?" I asked him, actually feeling happy that I can hear his voice

"Fine, I'll end-"

I laughed loudly for him to hear

"No no, okay my baby, what do you want? You texted me first" I shook my head at his cuteness

He didn't reply for a while

"Sunoo? Are you still there?" I asked again, placing my phone back to my ears

"Ahh, Hoon, please don't call me that" He whined on the other end

"Oh? Baby?" I teased him again

"That's it, I'm ending this" He threatened

"Nooo" I whined too, which he laughed at

"Marshmallow" I called him seriously

"Hm?" He responded quickly

"What is it that you need?" I slowly asked as if talking to a child

"Ah, nothing, I just want to hear your voice. Jungwon and Riki are already knocked out so I don't have anyone to talk to..." He said. I can literally see him pouting

"Suddenly?" I said, shocking at how he casually said it.

"Well, by the way, I guess I'll use this chance to ask you too" I added, not letting him speak first

"Are you free tomorrow?" I asked him, hoping he doesn't reject after I tell him what's it for.
