Park Sunghoon's POV

My parents weren't able to come at the competition because of their work, but I was glad to come home to their smiling and proud faces as soon as night came.

"I'm proud of you, son" my father said and gave me a pat on the back

"This is one shiny trophy! I knew you could make it" My mom said, taking a good look at the trophy I brought home

"It was because of someone, that's why I won" I bragged

They both looked at me, as if they didn't believe what they were hearing

"My son has someone already?" my father teased me

I shyly smiled

"Well, not quite yet. There are still things I need to fix with him" I told them

"Hm, you better. If everything's settled, invite him for dinner" my mom says, which brought a smile to my face

I didn't know my parents could be this supportive when it comes to my lovelife.

"By the way, where's Minseo?" I asked them, finding my sister who isn't around

"Ah she's there upstairs. Her finals is coming" My mom informed me

I just shrugged, celebrating and eating with my family for dinner.

After eating quite a lot, I went upstairs to my room

I quickly washed up and got ready for bed.

I then remembered the polaroid I slipped in my jeans' pocket, so I hurriedly brought it out even before it goes to the laundry

I stared at our photo, smiling widely.

Ah, I hope everything will be over soon.

I then heard my phone ring.

Shit. Sunoo's calling

Nervousness suddenly washed over my body. I don't even know why I am feeling nervous.

I then pressed answer

"Park" the voice on the other end seriously said the first thing

"U-Uh, what?" Shit, I stuttered

I heard him chuckle at the other line

"Nah, I'm just making sure it's really you. I'll be changing the contact name" He said, his voice sounding happy.

"Why? What's the name saved as?" I asked, genuinely curious

"Don't reply" He calmly said

I laughed at what he said. Was I that corny of a person? Annoying? Nah.

"The tables have turned now, hm?" I teased him

"Shut up" I can literally see him rolling his eyes as he said that

"I guess your purpose of calling is not just verifying if I am really your Sunghoon, right? What else is it?" I further asked

"Well, yeah, I mean- no! Minus the 'my'" He panicked on the other end

"But I am yours" I leaned on the headboard comfortably, listening to him panic

There was a short pause, so I took a look if he ended the call already.

He's still on the line, what's up? After a few moments, I heard him clear his throat.

"About my parents? Are you still up for searching for them?" He asked
