That Night

Park Sunghoon's POV

After my training, I got dressed before meeting Sunoo at the entrance.

"Why are you here by the way?" I asked, trying to avoid talking about the situation earlier

He looked up at me, still with those concerned eyes

"Did you miss me?" I teased him which he gave me another questioning look with a matching pout

"Ayy, there you go again" I pinched his cheeks that's why this time, he burst out laughing, trying to get away from me.

"Stoopp! Jungwon just told me you were here, I just thought you needed some uhm, motivation" He shyly said

I looked at him, now it's my turn to give him a questioning look

"Yah, but I saw you stumble and everything. I was waving at the seats but then all you did was avoid me" He pouted again

Oh? He saw me...

"Oh, I-I'm sorry. I guess my eyes were playing tricks earlier, I thought I saw someone else" I nervously laughed and scratched my neck

He gave me another look and continued to walk out

"Where are we going?" I asked him as he continued walking

"Uhm, just somewhere peaceful" He said, leading the way

After a few minutes, we arrived at a park.

We spotted kids riding their bikes just at the bike lanes, laughing and racing with each other

"Careful" I held his shoulder to pull him closer to me when a rider went past by us in a fast speed

We went further and stayed at the greener part of the park. Without speaking to each other, we decided to sit down on the grass, just enjoying the breeze of the air and the peaceful surroundings.

"Uhm, are you hungry?" He asked me

"Uh no, don't worry about me, just seeing you makes me full" I told him in a serious tone.

No, for real. I didn't want to ruin this moment for us. I guess I am a little starving, but being here with Sunoo is enough for me to feel full for the next five days.

"Uhm, Hoon?" Sunoo spoke and brought his knees to his chest

I watched him from beside, seeing his hair flow with the wind.

"I just want to say sorry... " He says, still not looking at me

"Please understand that I'm still hurting, Hoon. What you did to me is just—"

"What I did?" I cut his words off

Shit, I knew this was familiar. I remember him ranting about what I did to him...

He now looked at me when I spoke

"I don't know Hoon, I just can't take in the fact that, the person who wants me is the same person who have caused me so much pain" He says, his voice almost cracking.

I looked into his eyes. All I see is pain. Why?

"I-I don't know Sunoo... Please, tell me what I did wrong!" I faced him, already desperate

"Sunhee noona... y-you were at the accident, right? You were with here that night, right?" He raised his voice, asking for the answers he needed

What the fuck is he saying? This is so messed up!

"Sunoo! Calm down for a second!" I grabbed his shoulders to calm him down

"How can I?! Tell me then...tell me" He finally burst out in tears and buried his face on my shoulders
