Chapter 45: Pillar Training

Nobody's P.O.V.

Kagaya told the pillars that there would be pillar training. The first trial, was with Uzui Tengen. "Slow, slow, slow, slow! The hell you people doing!? I got no clue! Your stamina's low as hell! This is just basic running man, if you're going to be this slow, beating an uppermoon is going to be a dream within a dream okay!?" Uzui hollered. "Hey, hey, hey! I didn't ask you to lick the ground. It's not break time yet so go for another round!" he screeched.

Pillar Training, first, Uzui does the initial hazing via basic stamina training, then Rengoku focuses on strength training, then Mitsuri handles the hellish flexibility training, and Muichiro deals with the quick movement training. Then Obanai focuses on sword skill revision, while Giyuu takes care of breath training. Sanemi handles the infinite pounding training, and Gyomei handles muscle reinforcement. 

(Y/N) was supposed to spar the ones who finished Gyomei's training, but unfortunately, she hasn't woken up yet. The other pillars trained the slayers hard, so they can defeat uppermoons when the time comes. They were constantly thinking about (Y/N), they even went to check on her during their breaks, but (Y/N) was still asleep every time they did.

(Meanwhile with Tamayo...)

"Good evening Tamayo-san, it's dangerous to leave the window open at night. But the moon looks quite beautiful today. Very nice to meet you. I am Ubuyashiki Kagaya's messenger. You are rather good at hiding. It took me so long to find you that Ubuyashiki stopped moving in that time." Kagaya's crow said. 

"How... Did you find this place?" Tamayo asked. "People's connections. I looked up the owner of this house that you bought. Then during the afternoon, I kept watch over Yushiro-kun. I may have special training but I'm just a crow. Nobody's going to be that vigilant of me. I don't plan on causing you any harm, so don't be alarmed." the crow explained.

"So why are you here?" Tamayo said. "Hm. I sense a lot of distrust. Understandable. I suppose it's hard for me to gain your trust like Tanjiro did." The crow said. "Ubuyashiki... Are you trying to deceive me? What in the world are they planning?" Tamayo thought. "And Yushiro...?" She asked concerned. "Don't worry about Yushiro-kun. Look. You can hear his footsteps from here." Kagaya's crow said.

"So how about we talk business then? There's someone among the demon slayers who is well-versed in demon physiology and pharmaceuticals. We would like you to join our research efforts, and that includes looking into the changes of (Y/N)'s and Nezuko's blood. Can you work with us to defeat Kibutsuji Muzan? Please come to the Ubuyashiki estate." the crow requested. "You want me, a demon, to go to the demon slayers' headquarters?" Tamayo thought, shocked.
