Bennie always knew that bonding was crucial when it came to being a trainee.

Whether you are already placed in a group or are just starting as a trainee, it's always important to remember to create bonds with people.

...

It was a regular training day for Bennie. Or what became a regular day. She had dance practice early in the morning, vocal training in the afternoon, and pretty much free time for the rest of the evening.

Bennie and Carmen grew closer the longer they were together. They were like sisters and were always around one another.

It had been about 7 months now, and it was almost December.

The trainees, during Friday nights. They would gather around one of the dance rooms and dance off with each other. Bennie and Carmen didn't usually attend these gatherings since they would usually be ridiculed during them.

But today, they heard that there would be a surprise guest at the studio, so Carmen talked Bennie into going with her.

So there they were, standing awkwardly in front of the doorway, watching the other trainees cheer, clap, and dance while having fun all together.

"Lily's gonna come!" a girl named Jungha said excitingly. Bennie almost couldn't hear her because of how loud the music and the other trainees were

Bennie looked forward. She had heard of her before but had never actually seen her in person before.

Kim Lily was already making a name for herself. She used to be a JYP trainee a couple of years ago before coming to BigHit. She was said to be an amazing dancer, and everyone wanted to be like her.

Though she was placed in a group already, trainees couldn't help but admire her.

"There she is!" another girl named Gayoon exclaimed

Bennie snapped out of her thoughts and watched as a girl, obviously older than her, danced with some of the other lead dancers in her class.

And she couldn't believe her eyes.

Lily was breathtaking. She had hair that was as dark as a raven's feathers. Her lips here plump, her cheeks were naturally rosy, and her skin was the color of snow. But what surprised Bennie the most was the tattoos that she had that were scattered around her body.

Bennie was taught that people with tattoos are generally considered anti-social individuals who violate social norms and are criminals, gangsters, or juvenile delinquents.

But she looked like she was a very kind person. She had a motherly aura about her that brought Bennie to feel a sense of comfort when she looked at her.

She was amazing. Her smile was so bright. Bennie couldn't help but feel butterflies in her stomach. She didn't feel worthy to even look at her, much less share the same air space as her.

Her heart fluttered every time she would grin or laugh at whatever the backup dancers would say to her. And she was an amazing dancer. She was secretly glad that Carmen made her come here.

"She's so cool!" Carmen mumbled into Bennie's ear girlishly. "And very pretty, omo!"

"I know!" Bennie agreed, giggling like a schoolgirl. "Look at her tattoos!"
