James was spamming me with text messages my whole plane ride. Yep, I no cap had to buy a plane ticket to run away from him. As y'all should already know I am going to Preston's place. My phone goes off again. I sigh. This time I look.
J Nathan, how could you? Ten minutes ago
J Nathan, you really could of hurt him! Nine minutes ago
J Nathan! Answer me! Why would you do that? Eight minutes ago
J Nathan!!! Where are you!?! Seven minutes ago
J Nathan!!! You could of hurt him, dude!!! Six minutes ago
J Nathan!!! I am going to kill you!!! Five minutes ago
J Nathan, Gabe just fainted bro!!! Four minutes ago

I didn't want him to keep spamming me, so I answered after hesitating a little. I finally text him back.

I didn't want to tell him. My phone goes off again. I hesitate again before looking at the new message he had just sent me.
J Because what? What about you? Just now
I hesitate to hit send. I take a long, deep breath.
N James... I ... I like Gabe. Just now
There was no response from James. No phone dinging. Just the conversations upon conversations going on around me on the plane. Finally, after what had felt like an eternity, he responds. His response got me by surprise. No Caps Lock. Just plain, old text.
J But... but.... you know I have had a crush on him for the longest time. Just now
We just text back and forth a little longer. Although, the conversation was just about to heat up.
N I know and I am sorry. I.. I just like him. Just now
J Wow... that... explains a lot. I am sorry though... Just now

J He is taken. By me. So don't you go confessing any feelings for him. 'Cause he is mine. Just now
And... right about there was when the conversation started getting heated.
