"Minnie! Oh dear, I'm so happy you're here. Are you okay angel?"
Hyunjin hugged his omega tightly, nuzzling his nose in Seungmin's soft hair.
"I'm okay. The past days have been very exhausting though."
"What happened?"
"My father introduced that idiot alpha he picked to me. He's so arrogant and to be honest a bit scary."
The younger whimpered softly as he remembered the events with the new alpha that had happened the past few days.
The night after the dinner with his father, Seungmin had gone directly to his bed, not noticing the presence that had followed him secretly.
When he was just about to drift off to sleep, the door to his room had been opened making him jump up, completely shocked.
"You know that we're supposed to share a bed already, right?"
Xiaoji smirked as he came closer to the younger's bed.
"Fuck off. I don't want anything to do with you"
Seungmin growled, his ears flat on his head in anger.
"Oh~ I'm so scared."
The alpha mocked as he sat down on the brunette's bed, reaching his hand out to touch the omega's thigh.
Of course Seungmin slapped his hand away and crawled away from the other as far as he could.
"You know what the biggest problem is? You reek of another alpha and it's disgusting. You're such a slut, aren't you?
Being with alphas knowing that your father wants me to mate you, stuff you with my pups so I can give him the grandchildren he wants."
"Fuck off!"
Seungmin screamed at the smirking boy who just laughed at the omega's outburst.
"Mark my words Seungmin, I always get what I want."
"I'll kill him, I'll fucking kill him"
Hyunjin growled, his grip around his omega tightening.
His eyes had turned into a raging storm making the younger frown, his hand going up to caress the alpha's cheek softly.
"Calm down Jinnie, I'm here right in your arms. It's okay"
he released his calming toffee scent making the older calm down immediately, his nose nuzzling Seungmin's neck softly.
Hyunjin pressed soft kisses on the omega's shoulder up to his ear, his hands running up and down the younger's waist as he took his time to calm his mind, reminding himself that no matter what the future would bring, Seungmin was his omega, his love, his everything.
And no one would change that, not even some arrogant alpha who thought he's the chosen one.
"And no matter what, I'll stay with you, okay? We are meant to be, just like Minho and Jisung."
Indeed there are different types of bonds between mates.
There are normal bonds formed after two wolves mated, they can choose their mate and they overcome a break of their bond the easiest.
If both want a break up, they can easily re-mate without being in emotional pain.
But if their mate dies they'll experience the same strong pain as if they're dying inside.
Then there are silver bonds, they connect two wolves already the moment they are born but they'll only get to know about their mate once they turn ten years old.
Wolves with a silver bond are not able to decide another partner, they'll die without their mate.
And they can't be separated for too long else they'll start to feel strong emotional pain.
Minho and Jisung have such a bond just like Felix and Chan.
That was the reason why Chan gave up on his life as a rebel, he'd have died without his alpha by his side.
And then there was a rare type of bond, the golden bonds.
There was barely any information about wolves having a golden bond because they were even more sensitive when it came to be separated, that's actually the only thing that was known about it.
"Jinnie?"
"Yes angel?"
Seungmin stood on his tippy toes, holding himself on the alpha's shoulders as he pressed his lips against Hyunjin's, a hum escaping him when the older squeezed his waist gently.
The omega ran his hand through the white blonde hair tugging on the strands making his alpha groan.
"What do you want Minnie, hm?"
Hyunjin chuckled when they parted, his eyes sparkling playfully when he noticed the lust in the younger's eyes and his hand going up to caress the brunette's soft cheek.
Seungmin leaned into the warm touch, a soft smile on his face as he watched the ice blue waves sparkling in the older's eyes.
