"Minho!
Where is he?!"

Felix hissed as soon as he had
closed the door behind him.

Seungmin had fallen asleep a while ago just like his little boy and the silver-haired alpha had hoped so much that Minho had brought Hyunjin with him.

But the moment the ravenette
stood heavily breathing in the hallway completely alone,
he knew that something
was going very wrong.

"He's gone Lix."

"What do you mean he's gone?!"

But Minho could only shrug as he suppressed his own sobs and buried his face in his hands.

The alpha patted the other's back
in a comforting manner although
he also had to fight with his tears,
he had never felt more helpless in
his entire life than now.

Both Minho and Felix wanted
to help Seungmin so badly,
they wanted to fix the young family,
they just wanted for the three to
be happy.

A baby was supposed to
bring happiness but ever since Sangwoo came to the world,

Seungmin whispered as he
watched his baby sleeping
peacefully on his chest,
his finger caressing the boy's
chubby cheek gently.

He lifted his other hand to wipe
his tears away but they were
already replaced by new ones
making the omega chuckle quietly.

What a fucking day.

"Mama loves you so much.
I'll never ever let anyone hurt you,
I'll make sure about that."

And the brunette cried himself
quietly to sleep, his arms holding tightly onto his small baby while
his heart was bleeding out slowly
but painfully.

Hyunjin was lost.

He didn't know where he was anymore, he had wanted to go to
his little cottage, to his safe space.

His other safe space.

But the way was long and
without being able to see anything,
it was simply impossible even for Hyunjin to find the way back there.

He didn't know where he was,
in which direction he should go
and also from which direction
he came from.

Where home was.

The alpha laid curled up under
a few big protruding roots,
his once pure white fur dirty and
his legs littered with blood-oozing cuts as he whimpered quietly.

He licked his wounds carefully
but it was difficult considering that
he couldn't see them and his whole legs were hurting so he couldn't
really locate them.

A sigh left him as he let his
head fall back on his front legs,
his tail pressed against his side as
he closed his eyes, feeling the burning feeling disappear for a while.

Hyunjin didn't know what
was right or wrong anymore.

Was this the right decision?

Was it really the right decision to leave his Minnie and their son?

But he was a burden,
he couldn't help Seungmin raise
their child, he couldn't really be
there for his little boy and he
couldn't be there for his mate.

He wasn't the alpha they needed,
they could rely on.

He'd just bring additional stress
and worry to his fiance's life,
Seungmin already needed all his energy to take care of their baby alone now, he couldn't also take
care of Hyunjin.

He was a burden,
not a father nor a mate.

It was better like this,
Sangwoo would grow up without
a disabled daddy but with a mama who could focus on him completely without having to care for
Hyunjin too.

Seungmin would do amazing,
the blonde was sure about that.

Unlike him, the younger was ready
to be a parent, a good parent.

daddy is so sorry for leaving like this. But it's better this way,
