The spring has passed rather
quickly making the temperatures
rise high way too fast in almost everyone's opinion.

Especially Seungmin hated it.

It was late July meaning that
there were actually only three
weeks left until his due date and being heavily pregnant in summer was no fun at all.

He had never been a fan of warm days but now with carrying the extra weight around, it was just pain.

Their baby was apparently not
really caring about the hot season and
didn't give their mama a break at all, constantly kicking Seungmin in the ribs to remind the brunette that he was indeed carrying an almost full-term baby in his belly.

Hyunjin always said that their
little one was just excited and
already practiced to annoy their parents when it came to diaper changing later on but the omega could only chuckle at that.

The only thing that kept him distracted from constantly pitying himself for his exhausting situation was his adorable niece.

Tiny Rosie was already eight
months old and had just started
to crawl meaning it never got
bored in the Lee household.

The moment you take your
eyes off her, she was gone.

She loved to crawl to the
weirdest places, sit down there
and just wait patiently and quietly until someone found her.

Felix and Chan almost had several heart attacks already because their little one had just disappeared but now they already know her favorite hiding places so it was okay.

The first time she crawled off her daddy found her sitting under
his bedside table and she had
just smiled cutely with her
tiny dimples showing,
babbling a soft
'dada!' 

Seungmin loved to play with
her together with Hyunjin,
just simply enjoying the time
with her and exercising his parent skills a bit before their little one wanted to meet the world.

And Rosie loved playing
with her uncles a lot.

Her favorite things to do were
either playing with Hyunjin with
her plushies because she could
never stop giggling when the
blonde imitated the stuffed
animals with funny voices and
let them kiss her chubby cheekies
and tummy or playing with her cousin.

She never got bored of putting her small hands on Seungmin's belly,
always squealing cutely whenever
the unborn would move under her touch and kick her palm.

And it was just too cute to watch,
all the adults were already sure that the two babies would be good friends as they grow up.

Seungmin also loved to see how gentle Hyunjin was with Rosie.

The little girl loved him a lot
and whenever they stayed over
and the blonde played with her,
the omega couldn't help but smile imagining his mate playing with their own child in a few months.

He was so excited to finally meet his little baby soon and Hyunjin was also already getting nervous.

Of course whenever he just thought about their child being born in a
few weeks, a big smile bloomed on
his face but he couldn't help but worry a bit too.

There was no guarantee that the birth would go well for his loved ones,
there never was.

Seungmin was giving birth for the first time which is always the most critical one and Hyunjin was already tearing up just thinking about his beloved Minnie being in great pain and he couldn't do anything to
help him.

The worries about losing one or both of them were not even included.

And even if everything would go well,
he was still scared.

He hadn't forgotten about his
part of the deal with God of the
sea and he didn't want to lose
his eyesight.

He wanted to see his baby once they're born, he wanted to witness Seungmin holding them and calming them for the first time, feeding them for the first time.

He wanted to see after whom
their little one took more, would
they have white hair like him or red brown like Seungmin?

Would they have these beautiful chocolate brown orbs like his Minnie?

And would the baby be a boy
or a girl?

He didn't just want to be there,
he wanted to see and to memorize this precious moment.
