What is life
I come out of the void a child
The world seems sweet and mild
Yet when I was born I cried
And then one grows, people change
Parents change, friends change
The world seems more complicated
And harsher, and demanding
So much so, that in adulthood one seeks that simplicity again
And builds whole convoluted philosophies around it
But the fact is, to truly feel like a child
One needs to be treated like one, taken care of in the same way
Which ain't gonna happen, so a dead zombie adult you'll stay
And according to what our society and our civilization says
This is the way.
