Funny, isn't it?

Years ago, I ran away from this place. But now, I'm back again. Umalis ako dito dahil nasaktan ngunit bumalik din pala.

Napatingin ako kay Raven. I don't know what's running on his mind. Though he still cold to me and it was evident on his, but I think he is not angry anymore? Hindi ako sure. Hindi naman siya mukhang galit. Iwan ko at anong nangyari ng magpalamig siya kahapon at bigla nalang nag-iba ang isipan niya.

He was so mad and didn't believe that his the father, but he suddenly said that he want me to come with him.

We get my things from the hotel and now ride a yatch. I think he owns the yatch. They are really rich, huh? Or he is really rich? Mayaman kami pero wala kaming yate. We can't afford the cheapest yatch which cost a fifty million dollars. And I think ang sinaktan namin ay mas mahal.

It takes two hours or so before we reach the island from Cebu. Doon kami dumaong sa harapan ng kanilang mansiyon.

"Watch your step," Raven held my waist.

Syempre, dahil kunwari ay buntis ako, hinayaan ko siya. I still remember what he said yesterday that he will take care of me and the baby. Hindi ko alam kung anong nangyari at ganito na ang trato niya.

"Are you hungry?" he ask when are inside the mansion.

I shook my head. "I'm not. I want to rest..."

"You can rest in my room."

I pouted because of what he said. Siguro noon niya ako inalok ng ganito, baka papayag ako ng walang pagdadalawang isip. Not because I want something intimate that will happen to us before, but because I like him so much that I want I stay in his personal place.

Why now, April? You don't like him anymore?

Pinilig ko nalang ang ulo at tinigil ang pag-iisip.

"Well, I-im a bit sensitive and I want to be alone in a room?"

His brows furrowed and look at me intently. Don't stare at me like that Raven. Baka bumigay ako at isiping...

His jaw hardened then he sighed. "You can stay in my room. Alone."

I shook my head. "I want to stay in a room which is not yours."

Ngayon ay kitang-kita ko na nagsisimula na siyang maiirita.

I don't want to stay in his room dahil baka hindi ako makapag-isip ng maayos at baka gustihin ko nalang matulog buong araw sa kaniyang kwarto at amuyin ang kaniyang unan! What are you thining, April? Kakasabi mo lang kay June na wala kanang feelings kay Raven tapos para lang tanga kakaisip na aamuyin mo ang unan niya?!

But I need to improve my acting so that I can make sure that Sunny will surely be discouraged and choose not to marry Raven anymore.

"Okay," mariin niyang sinabi. "Stay in the room where you rest when you lived here."

Tumalikod siya at nagtawag ng isang katulong. I didn't wait for him because I still remember where's the room.

When I enter, the whole room is clean. Iba na ang bedsheet at ang kurtinang ginamit ngunit nasa gan'on parin ang ayos. Even the things I left years ago are still here. Nandoon pa nga ang picture ko kasama si Daddy.

And speaking of Daddy, I didn't call him since I came back here. Nasa Maynila siya at may ginagawa kaya hindi kami nagkita ng dumating ako. I already informed him that I will comingbacj in the Philippines. He was so happy when I said that.

Kaya ngayon ay tinawagan ko siya.

"Hello, Daddy?"

"April, sweetie, hello! How are you?"
