Yawning, Beomgyu continued to impress me with his basketball skills. His eyes always seemed to shift to me every time he made a shot—and me being the kind friend I am, I clapped for him. Even he got a bit tired.

"You look so cute from there," He complimented me, shooting his shot again. I rolled my eyes, stifling back the smile that shouldn't come out over a small, possibly backhanded compliment. "You're so fucking cute."

"I got it, I got it!" I laughed, him laughing as well. He stopped playing basketball for a while, sliding in on the bench next to me. His hand landed on my shoulder, beckoning to the towel next to me. Handing it to him, I also handed him his water bottle, which he took happily with open arms.

"Thank you," He mumbled, causing me to hum in approval. He placed his head on my shoulder, breathing heavily as he sipped like a child on his bottle. He patted his face down, his hair slightly perked up from his headband. He sweated a lot—but I guess that's what most boys in their adolescence usually do, play around, be immature, and perspire.

I learned that word in science today.

"Are you tired?" I asked, turning my head his way as I started to run my hands through his hair. He sighed out, closing his eyes from a feeling he must really enjoy.

"Not really," He responded breathlessly, licking his lips as he tightened his grip on the water bottle. "I'm waiting for my friends to come and meet you—they've heard lots about you."

About me? "Oh, are they the people from the basketball team?" I inquired, frowning slightly. "The ones who are super popular?"

"You can put it like that, yeah," Beomgyu chuckled, placing a hand on my knee. "The four people you saw me with the day we first met, yeah, them."

"I still can't believe you saw me at your game, I was like... seven stands away from the court," I commented, shaking my head. "Even at the garden, you knew me."
