"We're here!" I squeaked as Yeonjun parked the car, grabbing my jacket from the backseat. I could see his proud smile as he put on his as well, my fingers immediately going for the handle to get out. "I can't wait—"

"Woah, woah—" He grabbed my collar, slinging me back to the car seat. I glared at him, seeing his unamused expression. Beckoning to my jacket, he fixed his turtleneck collar. "Put your jacket on properly first, then you can be a kid and be dumb."

If I was the kid, he'd be my big brother. I pouted, watching as Yeonjun helped me put my jacket on. Done, I launched out of his car, slamming the door behind me as I ran up to the railing. The waves were oddly magnificent against the moonlight, the moon shining bright against the beautiful yellow sand.

Going down the ramp, I took my shoes off, Yeonjun whistling as he did the same. It felt refreshing to be here after all the exams I had not too long ago, able to breathe fresh air that wasn't stuffy nor smelly.

"Are you ready?"

"Yeah!" I jumped into the sand, feeling the sand between my toes. While the temperature decreased, my happiness increased.

Yeonjun and I strolled down the beach, holding our shoes in the bare cold. I giggled as I spun around in the sand, kicking it on Yeonjun's feet like a child. He simply chuckled, shaking his head as if he was completely done with my childish behavior, but still put up with me.

"Are you happy to be out at the beach during the dead winter?"

"I don't know—" I paused, a soft smile playing on my lips as I roughly took a seat, almost touching the wet sand. Yeonjun joined me, placing his sneakers beside him. "—I'm just a big fan of winter. Aren't you?"

"I have no bias on seasons, but more on people."

"Oh, that's cold."

"Can you see what season I like better, then?" He winked, causing me to laugh. I looked up, sighing softly before laying down in the sand. He groaned as he joined me, hitting my head with his arm. "Hey, lift your head. The sand...is sandy—and I don't want a crab to accidentally pinch you."
