So far everything has been fine
Ive been more and more happy
And more and more excited
For all that is to come
Knowing that I am truly loved
And truly cared about
For the first time in my life
Makes this more tolerable
I know it will take time
Maybe a lot of time
And test my patience
But one day I'll be free
From all the ice around my heart
All the bricks that built my wall
And Ill be able to fully reciprocate
And fully experience what this is
For now though
This is what I have to work with
And I am content
