You broke me
Into pieces
And you felt safe for awhile
Because you thought afterwards
That I was now weak
And defenseless
I bet it took you by surprise
When I stood up
With a piece of me
Gripped into my hand
You didn't weaken me
You only allowed me
To make a weapon of myself
