You promised me
You'd never leave
You'd never give up on me
You'll always love me
It terrifies me how painful
Such a promise can become
If I cannot do such things in return
It stings me inside
To think of a future
Where trauma has won
And I cannot love you in return
It kills me inside
To think of hurting you that way
