The concept of the Sleep paralysis demon is light and different in this story.
Here, A Sleep paralysis demon is appointed to a human to send deep thoughts to have the human face trouble sleeping and gain energy. It's completely up to the demon if they want to send positive thoughts or negative, it's their choice if they want their appointed human to rest. In return for them to control everything, the demons are asked to protect/help their appointed human in some cases.
If a sleep paralysis demon falls in love with their human there is a high chance they get the chance to change into a normal human. It all depends on how caring and soft-hearted they are.
