Thoughts about the unknown voice wrapped around Jake's mind, The male was too bothered by the thoughts to even notice that he had missed taking the shot and the set-up wasn't in the required condition.

That did lead to him getting a scolding from the producer, The producer was a boomer and was rude enough to tell Jake that if the younger didn't show his best sooner, he'd get fired. 

Jake being the angel thought it was all his fault and proceeded to give his best, despite the insecurity that now laced his thoughts.

It was 11 pm by the end of the shoot, as Jake was packing his equipment he felt a hand on his back.

Turning around he came face-to-face with Heeseung,

"Jaeyun-shi I'm sorry for what the producer said" The older spoke, handing Jake a pack of orange juice, just like yesterday Jaeyun politely accepted it.

"Don't be hyung, It was my fault that I wasn't paying attention. It's because of me that you had to stay here so late" The photographer apologized sincerely, It was visible that he was guilty.

"Not really, We all have those days when we can't really focus despite trying hard to. We are humans after all. I just didn't see why it was such a big deal, we could've postponed the shoot. I may be a model but you are a photographer and as hard it is for me it must be harder for you. You did great Jaeyun especially since you gave the best after realizing." Heeseung comforted Jake, a genuine smile lingering on his lips.

Heeseung's words made Jake feel a lot better, and the younger was for sure thankful for it.

After thanking and exchanging goodbye's Jake once again, waved a little with a bright grin before exiting the studio.

and that weird feeling in Heeseung's tummy was back. 

S L E E P L E S S

On his way back home, the younger couldn't help but think about his conversation with Jungwon this morning

"Thank you for the ramen yesterday wonie"

"What do you mean hyung ?"

"Weren't you the one who made ramen for me yesterday night ?"

"No Jake hyung ! I came back home at 3 am"

"O-Oh I must have made it then... Haha I must have been too tired to remember"

"Hyung why didn't you wash the dishes after making ramen yesterday. "

"Sorry wonie"

At first Jake had decided to ignore the voice he heard but when he got to know it wasn't Jungwon who made ramen for him, he couldn't help but feel uneasy.

What if its a stalker-

Or a burglar-

Or his sleep paralysis demon-

Jake mentally slapped himself for even considering the last option.
