Chapter 15- Little Things

*3 days after the date

MADISONS POV
My parents came home from their business trip and they asked me how I was the past week. Should I tell them about Luke? I mean I don't think they mind if I like someone.

"Mom, dad I went on a date on 3 days ago."
"Really?" My dad said
"Are you mad"
"No I'm happy that you found someone but I have to meet him" my parents agreed.
"Alright can I invite home for dinner tonight?"
"Yes of course"

I went up to my room and called Luke.
"Hey luke"
"What's up"
"Do you want to come to my house tonight for dinner?"
"Yeah sure what's the occasion?"
"My parents want to meet you"
"Okay I'll be there around 5"
"Okay bye"

I ended the call and told my parents more about my date and they were okay with it but I told them that he hasn't asked me to be his girlfriend yet so we aren't officially dating so they know.

I went up to my room. It's Christmas break and there's no school for 5 weeks. Christmas is a week away. Wow I lost track of time. I want to get Luke something but I don't know what to get him and I have to decorate the house. My parents love when the house is decorated but they never have time to do it so they give me money to buy decorations and decorate the house and I love doing it actually. So I will probably decorate tomorrow.

*ding dong
I got up from my bed to greet Luke. We sat at the dinner table and my mom handed us a plate of pasta and garlic bread.
"Thanks mom" I said
"Thank you Mrs.Bailey" Luke also said
"Luke you could call me Beth" my mom said.
" so luke what do you do?" My dad asked.
I face palmed and luke started laughing.
"What?" My dad asked.
I went up to my room ripped my five seconds of summer poster off my wall and marched down the stairs. I held it up next to luke and my dad said "wow you are on the poster, you are in the band Madison loves, now I know" my dad said. And that is when everybody burst into laughter. Luke offered to help my mom with the dishes so she took the offer. My dad came up to me and said
"Mads I like him. Keep him close."
"Thanks dad, I love you"
Luke and my mom came out of the kitchen with chocolate covered strawberries, the rest of the night we watched a movie and laughed, it was great my parents got a break and luke was loving it and so was I.

"Thank you so much for the dinner Mr and Mrs Bailey." Luke said
"You are very welcome, Luke. Come anytime." My parents said and I walked him out and we hugged and I pecked him on the cheek.
"Night luke" I said
"Night mads" he said winking at me.
Oh how he made me blush!
