prologue
solange was absolutely fuming. It was the last days of school yet she stood in the bathroom, red liquid trickled down the side of her face.
A knock could be heard on the door and she groaned quietly.
"Dollface?" She rolled her eyes at the nickname "What do you want, Mason?"
"Open the door" he whined and tugged on the handle of the door.
"No, fuck off. it looks horrible"
"You don't think the nurse can help you with that?" He joked.
Irritated, she harshly unlocked the door and threw it open. A satisfied smirk formed on her face when she heard him groan in pain at the collision of the door hitting his face.
Mason rubbed his forehead with closed eyes until he opened them and widened his eyes. He held a hand over his mouth as his lips curled upwards.
"I can see you smiling" She stated.
"Sorry" he mumbled.
The girl rolled her eyes and continued to dab the cotton pads over the wound "here let me help you" he grabbed onto her arm.
Irritated, she resisted "I can do it myself!"
"Geez, don't be so stubborn!" He shot back and tried to pry the box of cotton pads out of her hands "I've got it!"
Two camera clicks could be heard and the two of them stopped in their tracks. Glancing to the side their classmate stood staring down at the Polaroid camera that was printing out two pictures.
"Really?" Solange huffed.
"What? It's the last days of school" Henry shrugged and shoved the pictures into their hands.
"Whatever" Solange mumbled and turned to walk the other way.
"Bye dollface!" He yelled after her.
A grin formed on his face as she flipped him off without turning around.
"Adorable, isn't she?" He turned to Henry who shook his head at the pair.
