We finally got home and my dad put his arm around me. As we walked inside.
"So this boyfriend how long has this been going on?" He asked me
I sighed "it's been a day, literally don't have me break up with him" I said
My dad laughed "I wasn't Keilaya your 17 this is the time you date baby girl I won't raise you the same way I raised your aunt" he said to me.
"Thank you daddy" I said and hugging him.
"I do want to meet him though one day but only if you two become something serious got it" my dad said
"Yes sir" I said
"Good" my dad said he walked to his room and Ermias looked me up and down.
"What he say to you?" Ermias asked me
"Nothing because daddy knows that I'm old enough to date that's why I don't know why you treat me like I'm a child and a dumb child at that I'm your sister not your damn wife" I said to him
"I know you my sister and we go to the same school I know guys there talk and dog girls out that's why I protect you the way that I do, I can't have guys talking about your like you a piece of meat when I know you not Keilaya and I find out anyone talks about you like that I'm putting them on they necks" he said
I smiled and hugged Ermias "that's very sweet Ermias but I'm a big girl guys are going to talk men are natural pigs" I said smiling
Ermias laughed "I'll work on it then" he said
"Good so tell all your friends I want them" I said laughing
"That's not funny" he said shaking his head
"I was just joking" I said
"Ermias!" We heard my dad yell he sounded pissed. I was going to be nosey of course but only when they get to my dad study.
Ermias rolled his eyes and walked away I waited a few seconds and went to go eavesdrop. I put my ear to the door and I heard my dad strong and stern voice.
