I looked at my laptop as I was waiting for 12:00 to hit so I can see if I got accepted into my dream college I mean I should I was salutatorian. Which is the second best so I was happy as ever about that. I had the whole entire butterfly family here my uncles, aunts and cousins my grandparents too. One of the top choices I made LSU where athletes were born Ermias got in due to him being an athlete so I was hoping they would accept me too. Imma go where ever he goes I hope.
12:00 hit we all sat there as I pressed the fresh button. And I started too look on the screen in my email and saw the first two words.
I started to read out loud. "CONGRATULATIONS KEILAYA BUTTRRFLY you have been accepted into-"! I stopped right there as we all began to jump around and cheer my uncle boogie popped the bottle and poured it right in my mouth. I moved back and began to pour all over the place.
My dad picked me up and spun me around and my mom hugged me. "My baby made it!" She yelled
My dad finally put me down sage and Ermias came and hugged me tackle me to the ground.
"We going to school together baby sis" Ermias said I smiled I was so happy.
I was going to take a year off but I just needed a head start and finish this off to become a vet. I was ready for the college life now to meet new people experience new things like a new Keilaya for college. I had to call Gio I'm over here hugging my family.
I let go of Ermias and sage and walked into the kitchen for some quiet and privacy. The phone rang like twice.
"Hey mamas" I heard I love hearing his voice honestly.
"Hi Giovanni" I said cheesing he hated when I called him that.
"Stop playing with me Keilaya" he said through the phone.
I laughed "whatever but I got good news for you to hear" I said smiling
I heard Gio phone vibrate it was loud.
"Your brother just texted me too y'all weird wassup though?" Gio said
"I got into lsu" I said smiling
"Ayeeee I knew you would congratulations are in order for you mama love I'm so proud of you Keilaya smartest person I know baby girl I can't wait to see you and give you all the love you deserve for this accomplishment" Gio said I wiped my tears and smiled.
"I can't wait too see you too your mom and dad are talking to my parents for me to come to for the summer" I said
"Oh word? This gonna be great I'm waiting to hear from lsu too you know time different from them" Gio said
I saw Amir walk into the kitchen and he wanted my attention of course.
"Yeah I know, but I'm going to call you later" I said
"Ight mama congratulations Keilaya" he said
"Thanks bye" I said and hung up.
"Yes amir?" I asked him
"I wanted to congratulate you" amir said
"Thank you" I said smiling
Bull,Ermias and Zay was also attending Lsu with us I think Amir was too he never told me but nova posted a congratulations to him so I assume he was.
"Are you going too?" I asked him
"Yeah but I ain't tell you just in case you might wanna switch" Amir said
I laughed "No of course not I'm moving in with my best friend, my brother is going there you couldn't make me change my mind for the world" I said
"That's hood I guess so what you and Mya gonna be thotting up there at school since y'all getting an apartment" amir said
"You're an ass, I care about my education a lot and plus Gio might be going there too so who knows we might end up back together" I said
"Ohh so I was just a void to fill till you get back with Gio" Amir said
I shrugged my shoulders "I wish I could say that was true but I actually loved you every part of you Amir even the hoe faze, the chasing faze, the together faze, even the cheating faze but I don't anymore" I said
"I still love you Keilaya" amir said coming closer to me
"Ew no you don't you love nova you loved the idea of me that's it let's just admit it was fun while it lasted you know" I said smiling
I walked past amir and he pulled me to him and kissed me. I kissed him back. I pushed back and smacked amir.
"My whole family is here they will kill you" I said
"Don't act like you don't want me" amir said
I laughed and looked him up and down.
"Listen don't get me wrong I see you and you look good the sex was great but there's no emotion for us anymore amir let's just keep it as friends got it" I said and walked away actually walking away from amir and it felt good.
I went to my friends and they hugged me.
"I can't believe this it's going to be great our apartment is going to be so cute" mya said
"I can't believe you guys are leaving me who am I going to hang with now?" Sage said
"Girl you can always drive to us like an hour away" I said laughing
"Plus my baby boy on the way you can always be his friend" Tati said laughing
We all started laughing "4 more days and Shit us over we going to be outta high school bro we had a long journey" mya said
"And a even longer college career now" I said mentally preparing myself for that life.
Ermias walked to us and kissed mya hand and smiled at me.
"Aye y'all getting an apartment by campus so you know we finna throw hella parties right?" Ermias said
"And you gonna clean up hella parties too" sage said
"Shut up you not gonna be there heffa" Ermias said and sage pushed his shoulder laughing.
