Harper's dress

Will jk it's Harper

"Will where are you taking me?", I groaned, "This is too much suspense, my heart can't take this",

"Cut the drama babe", He chuckled, "Do you trust me?",

"You have your hands covering my eyes and I have no idea where you're making me walk, so right now, I'm gonna have to say I do trust you",

"You make it sound like I'm making you stand at the end of a cliff",

"Hey, again, I'm solely depending on you right now, so I'm not sure what you're making me do",

Will let out an exasperated sigh and I could feel him shaking his head in hopelessness.

"Okay, we're here", He took my hands and replaced them with his, placing snugly them over my eyes, "Just stand here, don't peek, if you do I'm not gonna get you ice cream after this",

"You're playing a dangerous game mister", I threatened as I heard him walk around the room we were in.

I waited there with my hands blocking my vision. My foot tapping impatiently against the carpeted floor.

Will and I were visiting home now. It had been a week since we were here and tonight, on my birthday, Will told me to get ready because he wanted to take me out for ice cream. We were making a pit stop, because apparently, he had a surprise for me.

I heard Will flip some switches, which I assumed were the lights. I could hear him accidently bump against some things and silently curse at his clumsiness.

After about 5 minutes of cursing and stumbling, he came up behind me, letting out a satisfied exhale.

"Okay, now slowly.....open your eyes",

I removed my hands and opened my eyes. At first, dark spots danced before my vision as it adjusted to the room.

I gasped at the sight.

Golden balloons hung on the huge windows of our high school library, decorated by gold twinkling fairy lights. The view of the city lights contrasting with the dark night sky behind them just made it look even more breathtaking. And just until I thought it couldn't get any better, I realized what the letters spelled out.

Marry Me?

The air seemed to have left my lungs as I turned around to see Will knelt down on one knee with a beautiful silver ring in his hand.

"Oh. My. God", I gulped.

"Harper Charlotte Jones", He gazed lovingly at my mortified face, "This library is where I saw you for the first time after we started our first year in high school. You were wearing an oversized black t-shirt paired with ripped jeans. Your hair wasn't up in a ponytail anymore, instead you wore it down for once. I remember looking at you, and thinking that you looked pretty with your hair down, but when you saw my face. Man. I had never seen you that angry, you looked like you would kill me and I never told you this, but damn did you look cute when you were angry. At the time, I would never have believed I'd be here, kneeling down in front of you, ring in hand, asking you that one question",

Okay I'm definitely dead. This is heaven.

"Harper, will you marry me? And make me the happiest man in- Why are you crying?",

"I-I'm v-very emotional okay!?", I sniffled.

"So...is that a...no?",

"YES! I MEAN NO! I MEAN IT'S NOT A NO!", I rambled, "IT'S A YES GODDAMNIT!! YES!!YES I WILL MARRY YOU!!",

Will's face broke into a grin as he slid the ring onto my trembling finger.

He rose up to his feet, wrapping his arms around my waist and crashed his lips to mine.

Suddenly, amidst the kiss, a sob escaped my lips and I pulled away instantly, scared of the capability of my runny nose.

"Babe", Will chuckled, "Why are you still crying?".

"We're going to get married!", I exclaimed, "I cry when I can't contain my happiness!",

"God babe, you're so adorable", he chortled, brushing his nose against mine, "I love you, so much",

"I-I", I sniffled again, "I love you too",

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!
