"You ready, my nigga?" Hawk asked with eagerness. Both himself and Cash were anticipating to see what Abel's so-called sister looked like.

Honestly, he wasn't ready at all. He was nervous, and in a way, he wanted it all to be a dream. The thought of his father having another child made him angry. It wasn't like he was jealous or anything, but he already had enough reasons to dislike him. To add on top of that, he didn't know how he could face his mother. How does one tell their mother that they have a sister that's fully grown? The whole situation was just impossible.

Abel wanted to hide somewhere and scream for life. His boys knew just how much he loved to take control of certain situations, but this time he was caught between a rock and a hard place. The things going on between him and Valerie, plus his mother and all the shows that were scheduled was enough to drive him manic. He couldn't help but overthink the condition he was in, it was just his nature.

"Abel, bro?" Hawk repeated, trying to figure out where his mind had gone.

"Yeah, man. I'm good." He lied, opening the back door and hopping out of the vehicle where Cash waited for him. "I'm good."

Cash gave him an awkward smile, attempting to be the uplifting person that he always was. "Man, I can't imagine what you're going through... You've obviously been dealing with a lot lately, but I just want you to know that we're here supporting you, always. It may not be much, but we care and we have your back no matter what... Oh, and before I forget to remind you, that was very mature of you, man. To step up and invite her to come see you so the two of you can talk it out. I'm proud of you, man. You're turning into a man."

Abel smiled at the words that departed from Cash's mouth. Nothing could touch him more than to be acclaimed by his best member. That was until he said,

"Slowly, but surely... You're becoming a man."

Laughter erupted from the both of them and for a split second, he had forgotten what he was just so worried about. Cash always had that effect on people, tending to turn bad situations into good ones and making you forget about what could go wrong. Abel was very appreciative of him and denying it wasn't something he'd ever do.

"You my nigga, for real. I swear, I love you, man." He genuinely smiled before walking into the airport by his side and searching around for Empress.

"The Weeknd! Are you and Drake really beefing?" A reporter asked the second he walked through the automatic doors.

Shit.

Hawk probably tweeted where they were going.

I swear, that nigga is irritating as fuck.

Abel ignored the few paparazzi's and watched as Empress walked quickly towards him. It wasn't hard to tell that she wasn't a big fan of the media.

Maybe this girl is my sister after all.

She hesitated to grab the hand that he held out for her but eventually did. He walked Empress to the car with Cash being on the other side of her, carrying her roll-on bag. The girl was nervous as hell, but he figured she had every right to be. As they both made their way into the black SUV, Cash shut the door and got into the driver's seat before pulling off.

"I'm sorry about all that. I guess I probably should've reminded you to expect that." He apologized, feeling like he owed her an explanation.

The girl was beautiful as hell and there was no way she could be his sister. Her mom had to be God's wife if her daughter looked that good.
