CHAPTER:12
SUMMER VIBES❝Look at me when I plead for those honey eyes.❞
I SMILE at how adorable she looked. I spin my body with the flow of music. I did my triple spin and land on the floor smoothly.
My teacher claps his hands as he approaches me, "Wow Theodore, finally you can do it." I smile at him.
Dance is an escapade from my rich bratty life. My parents did approve of doing extra curriculum activities as additional points to my future work. I am somehow glad that they did the work unintentionally. During the first few months after I signed the admission form, my toes were brutally bruised and I constantly depended on aspirin to lessen the pain.
But now while doing the balance on my toes even if it still kind of hurts makes me feel proud of the perfect angle I take in. I usually have my class only on Sunday. If there is something extra like impressing the guest in any function we work four days per week.
I bend my right knee for the lift and extended it straight forming a developpe. I do the same with the other knee. Playing basketball is another bonus point on my mark sheet. As I am a ballet dancer it helps and benefits me to play basketball due to the flexibility provided by dancing. The dance helps me to move in new ways, gaining better control of my muscles.
Later, I do chassé which is a small jumping move where the feet tap together in the air. The five years made me learn one thing: never lose hope and I didn't. I smile at the small children who clap their hands. I bow down placing my right hand on my abdomen and my left hand in the air.
My phone pings with a new notification, and a sudden excitement rise as I think of Sapphira giving me something but soon disappointment flows through my body when I find Isaac's message. Grumbling, I open the message.
