Chapter 9: Time is short

1 week before the mission

It was exactly one week before I had to go to the mission.
Tony said he and Fury would tell every detail what I have to do on the mission on the last day before I had to go and keep this mission for myself and not to tell anyone, giving me a copy of the file to go through it and keep it hidden, that was the most important thing.
"Just be cautious of Natasha she is an excellent spy and can easily read your body language and movements, don't do anything suspicious, we need to act normal just a side reminder", said Tony before he made his way to his labor on that evening.

The first days I tried to spend much time with every member I could as possible.
When Peter told me he got his first B on his math test, I invited him on Cheeseburgers to celebrate it, he insisted that he was more than happy just to go out with me and spent time together just the two of us on that day and I was immensely proud of him.
He told me about his life about the only friend he has named Ned , school life, how he felt being Spiderman and having the Avengers as their second family and already how I was being considered his older sister he never had because helping him with his homeworks, buying cheeseburgers and sweets, that's what a great sister would do even when were not blood related but for him it felt like I was his older sister and I cherished that the bottom of my heart. I would never admit it but with his little curls and shining brown eyes he exactly reminded me of my little brother.
I smiled to myself at the moment that he was sitting there infront of me munching on his cheeseburger and being the happiest child on this earth.
It was in fact heart warming.

Also mostly I spend hours helping Agent Hill and Agent Carter how to hack in some complex datas on any computers if needed and how to destroy any firewalls and viruses especially how to copy and files from any information without leaving any imprints without anyone noticing that their files got stolen from their data banks.
It took a bit time for them to understand the whole complex tech system but within 3 days they cracked the whole system.

The forth day included only a couple of hours hand to hand combat training with Steve Bucky and Thor but I hold back in order not to hurt them, doing some sparring one vs one each one of them and doing the usual like lifting some weights and throwing punches at the punching bag.
If I had to go that mission then I wanted to be at least in a good form.
Wanda was beyond happy to teach me to improve my power and how to save up energy in case if it's not needed in any kind of situations.
I was actually glad to have her as my friend and training buddy with almost the same power as her even when she insisted the most time of the days to come to her and talk about whatever it needed to be so I wouldn't bottle things up for myself.
I appreciated her offer and promised if I should need someone to talk to in the future then I would definitely go to her.
She and Pietro were generous and kind friends who I absolutely cherished it was only a couple of days but these days showed me how close I became with the twins.

Nights were spent to send Bucky memes to each other to make us laugh especially we all promised if someone of us couldn't sleep at night to due nightmares then we would give each other company no matter what.

The mornings were reserved for Natasha going out with her for runs, sometimes I would catch her giving some soft gazes at me.
That one morning was slightly warm and after the run Natasha insisted to buy us a coffee but when I didn't agree with her paying for it, she said it would be pointless to discuss with the Black Widow, so I gave in sighing deeply and promised to pay her back.
During the walk I complimented her that she was definitely a good companion and after that she was smiling over two ears the whole time until we came into the Tower and Bucky crashed us.

It was the fifth day and I spent time with Loki, Thor and Peter playing CoD with them since everyone made a bet on us which team would win, it was me and Pete against Loki and Thor.
Carol, Bucky, Steve, Natasha and the Maximoff Twins were on our side.
Sam, Rhodey, Scott, Clint and Bruce were on the side of Loki and Thor.
Tony was watching in amusement except Pepper who was yelling at us why we would throw our money out of the window by just playing a shooting game.
I smirked devilish when I knew that Loki was our last kill like the other three rounds before.
