"You...you!" I pointed, crawling closer towards the man with furrowed brows as I took a large stone that nudged my finger and threw it towards him with force. The man let himself sunk back from the ocean, his human like hands gone from the shallow rocks.

With eyes that darted around the shore, I felt my heart skip a bit as I heard a loud slam against the waters to my left. "I saw you, I know I did! Come out!" I yelled, getting up to my feet with heed to the cerulean waters with a narrow gaze.

The trembling fear had relinquished over my body, with only anger to be filled by my own empty heart. I wanted to know, I yearned for answer to my questions. My feet dragged me to the edges of the ocean, slowly stepping on the wet sand as deeper I went.

I felt dragged beneath my feet, not having a single thought of even taking a step back. The essence of peace finally finding me, the waves crashed back to its body, the wind blew hard with my hair coming to ruin my sight. I blinked. Once. Twice.

"Isn't it fun, little bird? To have the ocean up against your feet? Away from those mortals that dared touch u with one's knife?" he asked in quiescent, his voice soothing my hitching breath. He rest his head to the withered rock, catching a glimpse of the young man with his emerald eyes penetrating me with his gaze.

I turned my head, his nymph like marine ears coming to a shock with a slight grin of his many sharp teeth as of a vampire. "You...you're a fish." I muttered out with lips broken from its seal as I finally came back to my sense and began to back away from the waters that had held up to my knees.

I caught a sight of his revulsion as he sunk back inside the ocean with a vast of his blue tail coming from behind him. My stomach lurched with a heavy heart, gulping down the slight terror I had felt after coming to a realization.

I began to struggle beneath the tight hug of the sand, the rage I felt ceasing to exist. "Help!" I yelled out in fear, unable to get the tight grasps of the sand that had buried my feet whole. A pair of seaweeds rose from above, tiny droplets of saltwater inching back to its sea.

The seaweeds came to a huge blow, wrapping both of its long stems around my wrists in security. The green-eyed man descended from the waves that creepily steadied towards my scuffling body.

He inched forward, tilting his head back with both of his sharp claws gently cupping beneath my cheekbones. "Do not cry, my little bird. You will be safe between my arms," he beamed under his breath, a small yet genuine twinkle from his pursed lips.

His emerald eyes shun bright with a mutter of whispers wrapping throughout my mind. Tears stung my eyes, blurring the sight of the shirtless creature in front of me. "Come, come to the sea my daughter. Let one's guide get you to my loving embrace." his voice inched me forward, mouthing the words father without a thought.

I blinked once more, shutting my eyes close with my head tilted to the ground with a chant fighting off the urge to go with the man in front of me. It's not real. All of this, it's not real.

I squeezed my eyes shut, shaking my head with furrowed brows. "You can't deceive me with your blunt lies, fish," I snapped back with a biting gaze, looking up to see him plastered with a puzzled expression. I held the seaweeds tightly between my arms and continued to struggle against their tight grasps over my wrists.

He clenched his hands that cupped my cheek tightly, leaning closer as our nose touched. "I am not a fish, I am the hero of Kieshfah. Remember my name, little bird. For once I have you in my arms, you are mine to be doomed." he said rather darkly, tearing his hand away from mine with the seaweeds loosening its grasps as I felt in control of my numbed feet.

The blue haired man let go of his penetration and glided back to the ocean with eyes that glued onto mine, slowly descending to the shallow ocean. "Lady (y/n)! What are you doing there in the ocean?" asked sir Barrow, hearing the crunch of the sand beneath his leathered boots.

He dragged his feet to the sea and heaved me up from the sandy shore from my drenched gown, "I saw him, sir Barron. I saw Merrik." I mumbled, knowing full well that he did not hear what I had said.
