Hello, it's been a while. I know it has been a year and to be quite frank, I completely stopped writing so please excuse my very dry writing as i continue, but i can't promise that i will be updating frequently. Thank you.

"Alright, then once we land by the bay we will cease a plan when I tap my right foot on that sand." Said Kyriella, and I knew what that meant. To cease a plan, to capture her most valuable treasure at a speed of light.

"Then it's a plan." I stood my ground, shaking her hand whilst feeling the debt beneath her grasps. I didn't imagine myself to being kidnapped in the middle of the ocean by some egotistic pirate on a tuesday, but I suppose life has many surprises.

They both left Jack and I inside the cabin, locking us in as I heard a click! From the door. I sighed, rolling my eyes in exasperation. "As if we can even escape this place!" I threw my hands in the air out of frustration, sitting down at the wooden stool.

"What's happening (y/n)? Is there something you're not telling me?" He asks, the worry striking back. I straightened my back, looking at him eye to eye. "You wouldn't understand, Jack." I said sternly, avoiding his gaze.

"Then let me!" He yelled, taking me aback as my drifted gaze drew back to his. I stood. "And then what? Call me crazy? You don't understand Jack-"

"Everything here is already crazy, (y/n)!"  Jack stomped towards me, our foreheads inches away from each other. We lockeed gaze, suspiring in unison.

His eyes softened, his furrow brows calming down as his breath slowed down. He sighs, "Maybe...just...please, (y/n). Tell me, everything already doesn't make sense." He says, taking both of my hands to his palms.

"But no matter how crazy it may sound like, I will open my mind and heart to you (y/n). I will listen, and I will understand." He uttered in a hush tone.

"A monster."

"A what...?"

I drew my gaze up, my tone serious. "A man...Merrik, do u not remember?" I asked as Jack shook his head no. "That name...it seems familiar, (y/n). But I don't-- I can't remember." Jack stuttered while he tried to recall through his juggled memory.

I stared, "You poor, poor boy." I whispered quietly and turned. I looked outside of the paned circular window without uttering a word. "Am I...am I really just a boy to you, (y/n)?" Jack asked in offense, he didn't seem pleasured by what i had said.

Jack is only sixteen, and yet he's twisted into this mess that I had put myself into. "You're like a brother to me, Jack. Someone who I protect--"

"I'm not just a boy, (y/n)! I'm a man who can protect you!" Jack fussed, he didn't seem to have taken my comment lightly. "I like you, (y/n). I love you!" he said.

I smiled, unfazed by his sudden confession. I knew of his little admiration, but I dismissed it. I cupped both of his cheeks and squeezed as I let out a laugh. "I know...I know," I coo, squishing his face as I smiled. "But now is not the time to feel that way, Jack. We are in the midst of danger, and love cannot fight it's way through for us, do you understand?" I asked firmly, leveling to his gaze.

Jack was quite shorter than me, maybe just a few inches smaller. He was sixteen, and I was nineteen. I was already gravitated by the fact of looking at Jack as my little brother "Now, shall I fix us some tea? I saw one of the barrels had mint tea leaves."

He was lost for words, his face was flushed and he held onto my arm. He nods, looking down at the oak wooden floor with defeat.

.

I woke up with the door slamming open. My whole body reacted hastily as I sat up and tap Jack by the shoulder to wake him up. "Hiya' lass, did ye' have a good sleep?" Kyriella's smile shun with trinkets of gold on one of her teeth. I only nod.

"We have arrived in Black Pearl Island." Eva added and signalled us to follow. As we got out of the ship, the sun shun brightly from our eyes, the smell of smoke came to replace the fresh air of the ceruleans and I was met eye to eye with many barbaric men and women.

This place was gloomy and a ruckus, pirates arm-wrestled from barrel to barrel, some are laughing, arguing or counting treasures. Oh, how I hate pirates. We continued forward in our exploration, my eyes darting from every direction, easily getting distracted. Eva touched me by the waist as we locked eyes, "Keep your eyes forward, (y/n), unless you want to leave this place empty-handed." said she as I nod.

We arrived in a small shelter, with straws for a roof and bamboo for the structure of the little cabin. It was small, yet manageable. It was like from my father's stories about Black Pearl, a haven for pirates to leisure. But it did not left the mark on my mind that this place was deadly, a war zone for pirates.

"What brings the old boss back here ye'?" said by a grumble of a man. He had a leather eyepatch to his left eye with gold spikes sorrounding it's edges, a spiky mphawk for hair and a huge axe from behind his back. He seemed intimidating to say the least, a cigar dangling from his mouth.

"Ah, my one-eyed freak. Good to see ye' old Rob." said Kyriella as she pat him by the shoulder, he looked at me with face of sullen. "Another capture, miss?" he asked, his hand suddenly reaching forward to his axe. Jack held me by the arm, his fingertips running cold. I squeezed his arm for comfort.

"I am (Y/n) (L/n), and I am their bait. Not a lamb." I glared, "Feisty catch there Kyriella." he laughed, "Quit dillying, boy. Where will ye' keep us eh?" Kyriella tapped her foot as the man guided us towards the cabin. It only had two rooms, one with a bunker where Jack and I will be resided and the other room with a normal bed that Kyriella and Eva will be staying at.

"So, what's the plan?" Eva asked Kyriella, all of us gathered at a table with eyes darted towards the map. "Tomorrow we sail towards Blue Lagoon, where the heart of the goddess lives." said Kyriella, "But isn't that pearl stolen?" I intervened.

"It's where most beasts reside, the mother pearls pool. That old tell ye' hear of it getting stolen? The gods had tricked those pirates into carrying the mother pearl, but alas! once they took it out of ye' pockets, it turned into a whirl of water, embodying the whole ship into a ransack I tell ye'." Kyriella laughed.

"And what is it that we do when we get there?" I asked in a gulp, they both smiled. "As what baits do, be a bait."
