luke - bad day

Summary: After you boyfriend has a bad day at work, you cuddle for the rest of the evening.

Luke

Finally my shift was over. Today was a really bad day, there was two mass rescues and two of the people from them ended up dying.

I walked home just waiting to lay down in my girlfriends arms.

You

I was laying down on the couch reading a book when the front door opened and my boyfriend got in.

"Hey love." I said looking away from my book.
"Hey." He said, I could see form his face and voice that something had happened.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"Bad day." He said putting his things down and walking towards me.

He laid on top of me and wrapped his arms around my waist. I ran my fingers through his hair as he made himself comfortable on my chest.

"Wanna tell me about it?" I asked kissing the top of his head.
"There were two mass rescues and two people passed." He said sounding sad.
"Oh I'm sorry darling." I said.
"It's okay." He sighed.
"You wanna stay like this?" I asked smiling.
"Yeah." He chuckled.

We stayed like that for a while and Luke fell asleep on me.

I had to make dinner so I had to get him off me.

"Hey love." I whispered trying to wake him up but he didn't.

I started to play with his hair, that would usually work.

I heard him groan.

"Hey love let's go make dinner." I said.
"Sorry I fell asleep." He said getting up.
"It's okay love." I said getting up and kissing his cheek.

I walked into the kitchen and started making dinner, you decided to make Luke's favorite since he had a rough day.

I felt some warm arms wrapped around my waist. Luke placed his head on my shoulder and kissed my cheek.

"Hey." I said turning my head and pecking his lips.
"Is that my favorite?" He asked smiling.
"Yes." I said smiling.

You had dinner and then cuddle for the rest of the evening.
