Ariana's POV

So we left Rivendell while Gandalf covered for us. We went through a rain storm while avoiding fighting stone giants. Bilbo nearly fell off the mountain. Thorin then yelled at him. Which I snapped at him for. We found a cave to spend the night in. I sleep with my travel cloak on and hood up as it's very cold. I dream about what a life with my birth mother in Rivendell would of been like.

But I awaken by falling. I scream with the others. We land in a cavern and are grabbed by Goblins. We're pulled to our feet, but my hood manages to stay up. We're taken to a town to an ugly fat goblin on a throne. He must be king.

"Who would be so bold as to come armed into my kingdom? Spies? Thieves? Assassins?" he demands.

"Dwarves your malevolence and a man" a goblin tells him.

"We found them on the front porch" another adds.

"Well don't just stand there, search them! Every crack, every crevice! And remove the man's hood" the king orders. We try to fight and my cloak is ripped off of me.

"It's a woman your malevolence" one the goblins holding me states.

"Bring her forward" he orders and they do so. "What are you doing in these parts with thirteen dwarven men?" he asks me. I keep my mouth shut and he back hands me. "Speak" he tells me. I still remain silent. "Very well, if you won't talk. We'll make you scream" he says smirking. "Remove her clothes" he orders.

"No!" I shout and try to break free of the goblins. The dwarves try to break free of the goblins holding them.

"Wait!" Thorin shouts as my skirt if ripped up t my thigh. He steps forward and the goblin king looks at him.

"Well, well, well! Look who it is! Thorin, son of Thrain, son of Thror, king under the mountain" the king says as he bows mockingly. "Oh! But I'm forgetting you don't have mountain, and you're not a king. Which makes you nobody really" he states. "I know someone who would pay a pretty price for your head. Just the head, nothing attached. Perhaps you know of whom I speak, an old enemy of yours. A pale orc astride a white warg" he says.

"Azog the Defiler was destroyed. He was slain in battle long ago" Thorin states.

"So you think his defiling days are done, do you?" the king asks him. He turns to a scribe.  "Send word to the pale orc, tell him I have found his prize. Along with a woman for him to defile" he tells him. The scribe nods and runs away. "Release the woman, Azog shall be the one to defile her in front of Thorin" he tells the goblins. They release me and I run over to the others trying to hold back tears. I was nearly raped and still might be if we don't get out of here.

"Are you alright lass?" Gloin asks me and I nod my head.

"Thank you Thorin" I say quietly as the goblin king sings. He nods his head. The goblins are examining our weapons. When one finds Thorin's sword. Which glows bright blue as he unsheaths it.

"I know that sword! It is the Goblin-cleaver! The Biter! The blade that sliced a thousand necks!" the goblin king shouts. "Slash them, beat them, peel them, defile the woman, then kill them all!" he orders. Thorin and the others surround me. Thorin is thrown onto the ground. "Cut off his head!" he roars.

Suddenly a bright light fills the cavern. A wave of energy knocks us off our feet. "Take up arms. Fight. Fight!" Gandalf tells us. I rush to my sword and grab it. I'm no longer scared, I am pissed off about what those vile goblins tried to do to me.

We fight our way out of the town. Gandalf and I leading the way. When we are cornered by the goblin king on the bridge. I step forward. "What are you going to do now, woman?" he asks me.

"This" I sneer and slash open his belly with my sword. He kneels holding the wound.

"That'll do it" he says and I slice his throat open. As he dies the bridge breaks. We fall into a deep cavern and I land hardly on my arm. I feel my shoulder pop out of place and scream holding it. Gandalf comes over and helps me up.

"Well, that could have been worse" Bofur says and a dead goblin king lands on him & several others. We help them get free. Then race outside of the mountain into day light. I look around the company and frown.

"Where's my brother? Where's Bilbo?" I demand. They all look around and notice he's missing. I look back at where we came from and go race back. But two of the dwarves hold me back. "Let me go! I have to find my brother!" I shout.

"It's suicide lass" Balin tells me.

"I don't care, he'd do the same for me" I state. "Now let me go" I demand and wrench free of Gloin's hold. Before punching Dwalin and go race back into the mountain.

"Wait!" someone shouts and I freeze. I know that voice. I turn around to see my brother by a tree and race over to him. Hugging him tightly, glad that he is safe.
