3rd Person POV

Zuko was walking through the blizzard, holding Aang, who was still meditating, on his back with one hand and dragging (Y/n) with the other one

He had decided to capture her too, since that would be an even bigger success. If he captured both and brought them to his father, Zuko though he would not have to be exiled anymore

After some steps, the ice underneath Zuko begins to crack and cave in. Within a few seconds most of the ground around him is collapsing. He begins to run, with Aang and (Y/n) as a burden

He manages to keep just ahead of the yawning hole that his footsteps over thin ice have caused to appear. The hole finally stops expanding as Zuko trips and falls. They are now on the lip of a newly formed canyon. He looks ahead to see a rock ledge overhanging a small cave

"Shelter", Zuko gasped

He quickly dragged the Avatar and (Y/n) to the cave, both still unconscious

Outside the blizzard continues. He dumps them at the back of the cave and ties Aang's hands behind his back with (Y/n)'s hands also tied to him

Zuko looked at the storm

"I finally have you. But I can't get you home because of this blizzard", he sighed

(Y/n) started to come to sense again and opened her eyes slowly. Zuko didn't realize she was awake and continued talking

"There's always something...", Zuko sighed again

Then, he turned around, seeing how (Y/n) was already awake. She was looking around, seeing how she was tied to Aang and they were in a cave

"I see, you're awake", he said

"Zuko...why did you take me too", she asked

"Double prize", Zuko responded, "my father will be happy to hear that I've caught two people at once"

"You really think we're not going to escape, huh?"

"You can't, if you try to use any form of bending, you'll wake him up and the connection to the spirit world will be lost", Zuko said

(Y/n) sighed, "why do you even want to make your father happy...?"

"Tch, because I have to prove myself"

"No you don't, you could just ignore him and live a happy life", she said

"You don't understand me, do you? You're just like my sister", Zuko told her,"everything always came easy to her. She's a firebending prodigy and everyone adores her"

(Y/n) didn't reply, she just wanted to listen

"My father says she was born lucky. He says I was lucky to be born", Zuko said,"I don't need luck though, I don't want it. I've always had to struggle and fight and that's made me strong... It's made me who I am"

"Zuko...your father treats you like trash and you still want to go back?", (Y/n) asked, "you could help Aang save the world and redeem yourself, but you're choosing this path that won't make you happy!"

"What do you know?? My father will forgive me!"

"If your father hasn't come to bring you back home by now he doesn't care about you!", (Y/n) yelled, "I'm sorry Zuko, but your dad is a ruthless maniac that doesn't care about your redemption"

"Shut up!!", he yelled, before turning around, "shut up..."

(Y/n) decided to stop talking. She hated Zuko's decisions, but she knew she couldn't change his mind
