3rd person POV

Aang wanted to go alone to the Fire Nation, even though sokka, Katara and (Y/n) insisted to accompany him. He was preparing for his trip, but Appa didn't want to leave

"Let's go Appa! Come on, boy!", Aang shouted

Appa groaned, not moving

"Look, I'm sorry, but Katara, Sokka and (Y/n) aren't coming to the Fire Nation with us. If they got hurt, I'd never forgive myself", Aang told the bison, "so get your big butt off the ground and let's go!"

Aang continues to pull on Appa's reins, but Appa continues to remain immovable. Aang pulls so hard on the reins that he falls to the ground

"I think his big butt is trying to tell you something", Sokka said

"Please don't go, Aang. The world can't afford to lose you to the Fire Nation", Katara said, "neither can I"

"But I have to talk to Avatar Roku to find out what my vision means. I need to get to the Fire Temple before the sun sets on the Solstice. That's today"

Aang jumps up onto Appa's back and looks back hesitatingly at us

"We're not letting you go into the Fire Nation, Aang", Katara said

"At least not without your friends", (Y/n) said

"We got your back"

"Are you sure? It could be dangerous", Aang said worried

"C'mon, what happened to 'we're in this together'?", (Y/n) said

Aang smiled at them. Then, they all jumped on Appa, preparing for our ride

"It's a long journey to the Crescent Island. You'll have to fly fast to have any chance of making it before sundown. Good luck", the chief said

"Thank you, for your-"

"Go!"

Appa took off

"And we're flying again", (Y/n) said, "it's part of our routine"

"Come on, boy! We've got a long way to go! Faster!", Aang told Appa

Appa accelerated

"So what is actually the plan?", Sokka asked, "we're just gonna enter the Fire Nation?"

"Yeah, that's basically it", (Y/n) said,"there's literally no plan"

"What else is new", Sokka sighed

Having the feeling they were being followed, (Y/n) turned around, seeing Zuko's ship sailing after them

"Guys, we got trouble", (Y/n) said, "and it's gaining fast"

Meanwhile on Zuko's ship, a catapult was being raised from below onto the deck of the ship. The catapult got loaded with a steaming and smoldering projectile

"Really, Prince Zuko, couldn't you shoot them down with something more fragrant?", Iroh groaned

Zuko shoots a fire ball at the projectile and it ignites. He raises his arm in the air

"On my mark.........Fire!", he yelled

A Fire Nation soldier cuts the catapult's rope and the fiery projectile is hurtled into the air
