3rd Person POV

It was time for the gaang to continue their journey. Master pakku and some other waterbenders were going to the southern water tribe, so they decided to take Aang and the rest out until they had to go different ways

Master Pakku wanted to give the gaang some gifts for their journey

He reached into his small bag and pulled out a triangle-shaped amulet

"Katara, I want you to have this: this amulet contains water from the Spirit Oasis", he spoke, "The water has unique properties. Don't lose it"

"Thank you, Master Pakku", Katara embraced him and then walked away

Aang now stepped forward and Master Pakku produces an intricately-decorated brown box

"Aang, these scrolls will help you master waterbending, but remember they're no substitute for a real master", he said, looking proudly at Katara

Now, Sokka and (Y/n) stepped up

"Sokka, (Y/n)...take care", he said without giving them anything

The two looked at each other, clearly disappointed

With that, the four prepared to leave, getting on Appa

"Fly straight to the Earth Kingdom base to the east of here. General Fong will provide you with an escort to Omashu", Master Pakku told them, "There you'll be safe to begin your earthbending training with King Bumi"

We all nodded as Aang pulled the reigns and Appa lifts off.

Y/n POV

We were flying on appa, waiting to arrive , when I noticed mountains and a tower come to view

"There it is!", I exclaimed

Aang, Sokka, Katara and I prepared to land. Appa flew down towards the tower

When we got down, the General was already awaiting us

"Welcome, Avatar Aang!", he bowed down, "I am General Fong. And welcome to all of you, great heroes!"

The general started to greet us all, "Appa, Momo, brave Sokka, the mighty Katara"

"Mighty Katara? I like that", Katara sounded pleased

"And of course, the incredible (Y/n)", the general spoke again

"Woah...thank you", I felt honored

That honestly felt good. It was one of the first time we had gotten our recognition

Suddenly, Fireworks exploded behind us, as we turned to look at them. A group of four Earthbenders stepped forward, lifting small, green orbs from the ground and launching them into the air with their fists

"Not bad, not bad", Sokka said, amazed

They escorted us to inside of the base into a large room with green-lit columns on each side of a central walkway. There was a desk seen at the far end, with a large banner showing a green circle and a brown square inside of it hanging from the ceiling

We sat at the center of the room on a mat, with the general at his desk

"Avatar Aang, we were all amazed at the stories of how you single-handedly wiped out an entire Fire Navy fleet at the North Pole", General Fong spoke, "I can't imagine what it feels like to wield such devastating power, it's an awesome responsibility"

"I try not to think about it too much", Aang said humbly

The general spoke again, "Avatar... you're ready to face the Fire Lord now"
