"Are you trying to kill me?"
Jin stops in his tracks from my words and questioningly turns around. Raising an eyebrow, a little smirk forms on his lips. "I wondered how long it would take you to realise."
My mouth gapes open and I shove his arm with my hand, making him burst out laughing.
"I'm kidding Tara. I'm over the phase of trying to kill you since I know it won't work."
"Wise choice." I pat his shoulder and walk past him.
We stopped at a convenience store nearby to the resort to buy myself a torch, because apparently I was supposed to bring one since he brought one. He still hasn't told me where we're going and why a torch is required.
"So, where are these so-called 'depths'?"
Jin stops next to me, raising his arm and pointing towards a large area of cliffs and rocks. In the centre there's a huge dark hole, leading into the depths-
Oh. So that's what he meant by depths.
"We're going into a...cave?"
With a smile on his lips he nods happily. "Correct!" He begins to walk into the direction of the cave.
Well, now I see the point of bringing torches. That makes a lot more sense.
Nervously laughing I hurry after him, clutching more on the torch in my hand. "And here I thought we were going somewhere more...cleaner."
"Oh come on, it'll be fun! Besides, there's something in there I think will perk your interests." He turns his head over his shoulder and sends me a wink.
"If you say so." I shrug, walking side-by-side next to him.
As we approach the cave I notice how big and deep it actually is. When staring in the centre of it it's pitch black, and a cold breeze travels out of it making me shiver.
We stop outside it, and I gulp ever so slightly. "Are you sure about this?"
He turns his head to me. "Obviously."
"What if we get lost and then can't find the way out? Or what if we get split up and lose each other halfway?" I list all of the things that could happen.
Sighing in amusement, he grabs my left wrist and holds it up. Holding up his own left wrist too, he puts them side-by-side. "We have arrows for a reason, Tara. It's practically impossible to lose each other when we can just find our way back straight away."
Tilting my head in consideration, I realise his words are true. "Good point."
"But, just to keep you happy," he slaps his hand into the palm of my own, squeezing it in his grasp. "I won't let go. Okay?"
Nodding in approval I turn my torch on and point it into the cave. Jin does the same and then we begin out journey into the 'depths'.

"Are we sure there isn't any...bats or something in here?" My uneasy voice echoes around the cave as we walk through it.
It's quite cold down here, but Jin doesn't seem fazed by the sudden change in temperature. He carrys on powering through with my weak self clinging onto his hand.
"Why would there be bats down here?" He questions.
Shrugging, I mirror his footsteps behind him. "I don't know. I thought caves have bats in them."
"I doubt there are any in this one, so chill." He reassures me.
Sighing I nod and clutch my hand even more into his own. He notices and looks down at our hands. "At this rate you'll cut of my blood circulation by how hard you're squeezing my hand."
