Four, Seven, and Eight were lounging around Four's little trailer. Seven was extremely curious about One—him as a person and his background. Eight couldn't help but think that everybody, including her, was curious about One.
She may have known him the longest out of all the other members, but One is still an unsolved mystery of puzzle in her eyes. Of course, she knows that he's extremely loving and would protect those he loves. But to what extent?
Her relationship with him years ago was such a blissful ride that even thinking about it pained her so much. She loved him so dearly that she sacrificed something huge in her life. She would have to keep it away from One as long as she could. Even though it absolutely wrecked her never to be able to tell such a secret to her former lover.
She knew her secret would make him feel undoubtedly elated. But the selfish part of her keeps her want to tell her former lover the secret at bay. Her thoughts always wondered whether he had replaced her with one of the women he has been involved with since he left her. But she always shuts it down quickly before her thoughts wandered into unwanted territory that would devastate her even more than she already was.
He left her when she was in a very vulnerable state, where she needed him the most. But now that she sees him after three years, they were apart. She couldn't help but observe One with the more advanced observing skill she perfected throughout the three years apart.
She deduced that he has a huge heart, which she has certainly known for years before. So big that it makes him a selfless person. A lot of people might not like him because of how he represents himself. But they never knew the real him. Not even a being in this world knows who the real him actually is except himself.
He has set his priority in life; to make the world a better place. But by him doing that means he has to let the people he holds dear go. Meaning that One has to let Eight go. Even with the despicable way he has left her by herself on that night.
