Loki found out sat on the edge of the towers roof, he would've panicked if it weren't for the fact this was normal for you.

"Hello." He greeted.

You turned to face him and offered him a small smile before going to to looking at the early morning lit city.

"Hey Loki, What brings you up?"

"Just some peace, what about you?"

Loki walked over and sat next to you, glancing at your briefly before he copied you and looked over the city.

"Just thinking." You mused.

"May I ask what about?"

"You can't tell anyone." You said sternly turning to face him.

Loki raises a hand and placed it over his heart.

"Hand on heart I shall not speak a word."

You nodded your head then smiled at your friend. Both of you had grown close over the past few months.

"I was thinking about the past, before... this..."

"What do you mean?"

"You can guess I wasn't invited into the avengers by choice, it's so the can keep an eye on me. I'm ex Hydra."

Loki knew of hydra, they were ruthless. But you were beyond gentle, and at the same time there was a silent chaos about you.

"They said hydra hurt you." He said lowly.

You hummed and nodded your head. Loki quickly took your hands in his and gave you pleading eyes.

"Show me your scars?"

You furrowed your brows in confusion.

"Why?"

"I want to see how many times I wasn't here when you needed me."

You sighed and shook your head, offering him a small warm smile.

"This was before you Loki. Before you even came to earth."

"Please?" He asked quietly.

You looked away before nodding. Turning your back to Loki, you placed your hands on your knees.

"Lift yo my shirt."

You felt Loki's cold fingers brush against your sides as he lifted up your shirt. He let out a soft gasp, with one hand he trailed a few of your scars.

There were a mixture of deep, shallow, jagged. Each one was different.

"There's so many..."

"Many bad things happened."

Loki was horrified that one human could do this to another. Yet, despite this, you smiled everyday. You still had spirit, you were still gentle.

Loki trialed a few more then lowered your shirt and you turned around again.

"I want to show you something." He said softly.

"What is it?"

Loki took a deep breath and you watched his skin turn pale blue, lines appeared on his face and his eyes turned red. He let out a breath and it came out as mist.

"Loki..."

"This is what it really look like..."

You reached out towards his hands and stopped. He raised a blue hand and placed your palm to his cheek and leant into your touch.

"I hate it..." he mumbled.

You shook your head, getting his attention.

"I love you. All of you. Even the parts of you that you don't like."

Loki changes back but neither of you moved.

"I'm here for you, and I'll never leave." You said gently.

Loki smiles and kissed the palm of your hand.

"As am I, for you my love."
