So, this is a poem about Doctor Who, seeing as I've been rather obsessed with it lately! I don't take credit for the character of 'Donna Noble' or the Doctor, all of the credit belongs to BBC. Nor do I take credit for the storyline. I just wrote the poem from Donna's POV and imagined how she saw the Doctor.

I saw the vivid colors
As the dream imploded
Turning into a nightmare.
The beautiful gown I wore
Had become worse for wear.
The sky was falling.
Reality was calling.
Where the mountains met the burning sea.
This was a new world now.
It had no place for me.
Until I found him.
The man in the blue box.
Oh, his eyes!
They held the stars
And galaxies alike.
He spoke endlessly with charm
And acted with might.
But there was no home for him
Anywhere.
So he roamed, in search
Everywhere.
When he saved me
I knew
He's the one I've been waiting for
My whole life through
He was lonely
Oh so lonely
With two hearts
Only one was truly beating.
Slowly fading
From the earth.
But he was a time lord.
He couldn't die.
He was born to survive.
And so it goes...
The legend of a time lord
Who fell in love with a girl from Earth
The whole thing was
Insane
Perfect
And unstable.
From the moment he fell in love with me:
Donna Noble
