I wrote this up in homeroom and edited it at home. Hope you guys like it, it's not about anyone in particular but myself, so I was talking in the second person about myself... if that makes any kind of sense at all! Haha; just go ahead and read it, my lovely fans :)

There she goes again

Barely even friends

Falling for the prince she envisioned

It's funny how he

Turns out to be

Nothing she thought he was

And she turns out to be

Everything he doesn't need.

Hopes and dreams collide

Forming a little masterpiece called life

So what forms love?

It could be

The fact that no one is ever as they seem

But she doesn't believe anymore

She had faith in you

Unspoken trust; though you never knew

Chocolate brown eyes

Rimmed with tears

An almost hollow heart

The remnants: fears.

So she'll fall asleep tonight

In her cold and empty room

The last thing on her mind before she falls asleep- is you.

It's not your fault; you didn't know.

It's not as if her love

Was easy to show

She kept it hidden

Behind a smile

Searching for a lost prince

To make all the pain worthwhile.

I guess it wasn't you.

Deep down, I think she knew.

But she needed something to hold onto

Now she lost her grip

And she slipped.

Down the well

For miles she fell.

Still holding on to the idea of you

Being her lost prince

Who'd finally found her.

But I guess she's still looking.

As are you.

I bid you farewell

And good luck in the future.

May this parting lead to the temporary enclosure of her heart.

Not forever

But for a short while

So she can focus on life

And what it really means to smile.
