So, I was listening to this song and there's a part that got me thinking.

"The beginning is the end, the end is the beginning, the world keeps on spinning bringing us back to the beginning is the end, the end is the beginning, the world keeps on spinning bringing us back to the beginning is the end..."

You get the point. But it made me realize something. There is NO beginning that is also an end. There's no end that's also a begining.

Think about it.

When you're born, that's the end of your parents not having you in their life.

When someone meets their end, it's the beginning of you not having them in yours.

All beginnings are ends and all ends are beginnings! There's no exception!

Even something as simple as reading a new book. It's the end of you not having read it and the beginning of you reading it!

When you finish? It's the beginning of you being done with it.
Think of the "what now?" moment many Potterheads had after finishing the Harry Potter series.

The beginning of going to sleep is the end of being awake.

The beginning of eating is the end of not eating.

The beginning of a silence is the end of noise.

The beginning of doing something, anything, is the end of not doing it!

The end of doing something is the beginning of not doing it!

The beginning of a play is the end of the wait before it starts.

The beginning of an idea is the end of not having one.

The beginning of rewatching/listening to something is the end of you watching/hearing it the previous number of times.

The beginning of painting is the end of a blank canvas.
The end of the painting is the beginning of another blank canvas.

The end of drawing a circle is the beginning of having one.

The beginning of history is the end of not having it.

The end of a historic event is the beginning of moving past it.

The beginning IS the end!
The end IS the beginning!

Okay, fine! I just understood some song lyrics. But to me, it feels like I've unlocked something. It's sort of profound because I've never thought of anything like that before.

So when looking at something, it's your choice whether to focus on the end or beginning, despite them occuring simultaneously and both being inevitable upon anything.

The beginning of writing this has been the end of it being unwritten.

Have a good existence! Let this be the beginning of you pondering this and the end of you not!
