Making Up My Own Superstitions

Recently, I've been researching superstitions from around the world. I'm not superstitious, but I do believe that superstitions put a little fun and magic into a world where we need it. We definetly need a little magic now. So, while I'll definetly be writing about pre-existing superstitions in other chapters, here I'll be creating my own.

A lot of these are based on old superstitions, which involve things like anti-left handedness and making assumptions. I don't support any of the negative things, nor do I believe in any of my superstitions. These are made purely for fun!

Coins
-If you approach a coin with your left foot, it means the previous owner had an evil spirit. If you pick it up, it meams a demon is following you. The only way to remedy this is by dropping the coin and stepping on it with your right foot.

- Dropping a penny means there is someone who needs it more.

- Dropping a dime means your finances will double and you shouldn't worry about money.

- Finding a rusty coin means an older person is thinking of you.

- Finding a shiny coin means someone new will come into your life.

- If 2 people find a coin at the same time, they are bound to be enemies.

Nature/ Outdoors
- Crushing a bird's eggshell is bad luck
- If a yard has tall grass, an angry person lives there.
- If you feel a breeze on a warm/hot day, a dead loved one is trying to communicate with you. If you feel it on your left side, they are warning you. If you feel it on your right side, they're letting you know they love you. If it's in the middle, they are passing over you.

Beauty
- If a barette won't clip, it means someone in the room closest to you is struggling.

-When you mess up your mascara, it means you're not seeing clearly

That's all for now!
