Billy Joel turned 71! Fun Fact: He released his first album in 1971 to help prevent teen suicide!
If you do not know who Billy Joel is...here's a crash course. He's an American singer/pianist/ composer, and rock star of the 70's - 80's. He wrote and sang the iconic song Piano Man. And was the subject of a school project I once did. I even had to dress like him.

Don't worry, It looked much better at school and I got an excuse to belt out "My Life" in front of my teachers and classmates I was annoyed at.
Growing up, my dad was always playing Billy Joel. He was in his "classic rock is still alive but not alive" stage then. Also, he's a born New Yorker so the music always hit home for him.

These aren't all the ones I've heard. There's still the big debate my father and I go through. He thinks the best Billy Joel song is "Only The Good Die Young". I don't. I don't hate it but I don't love it. That's the great thing about Billy Joel. Not all his songs are instant hits and he doesn't let anything get to his head. He paints a picture of humility, while being adamant that he's an artist. Now......
HERE'S SOME GREAT ADVICE. AND I MEAN, GREAT ADVICE. Find this video:
Or just look up "Uptown Girl" aaaaand..... Spam it to your friends. Believe me, they'll love it. I promise. This will be great.
