Age: 13

It was a well known fact that Stanley Uris and y/n y/l/n hated each other. It all started when in kindergarten y/n refused to share her crayons with the curly haired boy, then in 2nd grade when you 'accidentally' tripped Stanley because he made fun of your clothes, from then on you and Stanley Uris were sworn enemies.

You are still in 7th grade and still hate each other. In science you were learning about atoms and you had to do a project with a partner. Of course the teacher thought it would be good for the both of you to work together, so you got paired up. You looked at the boy, hate flaring in your e/c eyes. 

"Right, now that I've assigned you your partners, please go sit with them and discuss the project together", the teacher said. Stanley motioned for you to come over, but you told him no, not wanting him to get his way. He reluctantly got up from his chair approached your table. 

"Look, I know we hate each other but can we please not let this affect my grades, my parents will kill me if I get less than a B on this project" Stanley said.

"Fine" you said rolling your eyes. You then started discussing your ideas, every now and then arguing about the other persons' idea and how it's not good enough. By the end of the class, it was obvious that the both of you were behind, so you'd have to meet up after school.

"We can go to my place" Stan said whilst packing up his books

"No, we can go to mine" you said challengingly

"Ok, fine we'll go to your place" he said rolling his eyes, not in the mood to compete with you.

Science was your last period of the day so you went straight to your house on your bikes. You dropped your bike by the garage, from the corner of your eye, you noticed that Stanley put his kick stand up. You smiled, how cute, you thought to yourself. You pushed that thought from your head.

You opened the door, and led him to your room.

Stan's pov:

I walked into her room and awkwardly sat down on her f/c bed. I looked around, to be completely honest she had a nice room. 

"ok can we just finish the project here so in class we won't have to talk to each other any more than we have to" she suggested. I nodded, trying not to show how hurt I felt by the comment. In all honesty, I've had a crush on y/n for many years already, I didn't want to make a move because she hated me and she also made it completely obvious that she didn't like me back.

Y/n's pov:

When Stan nodded, I couldn't but realise how hurt he looked. We started working on the project and at times I could feel Stans' eyes on me, causing my face to flush. Whatever feelings I had accumulated for Stanley Uris, I wanted nothing to do with them. 

3rd persons' pov:

It took about an hour and a bit to finish the project. Stanley couldn't help but feel a bit sad that he would have to go, and go back to hating you. You couldn't help but feel the same way.

"So um, I guess I better go now" Stanley said packing up his things

"um before you go, I just wanted to ask if we could stop having this stupid rivalry together, and be friends" you asked with your head down. Stan just smiled and nodded.

"I'll walk you out" "sure"

You watched Stan get his bike and ride off, you waved and he waved back. You could feel butterflies, it was established. You had feelings for Stanley Uris.
